“That’s because no matter where we are, no matter what happens next...our hearts will always meet in the same place.” She swallowed, her pulse unsteady. “And where is that?” His blue eyes burned into hers. “With each other.” Elena’s breath hitched. Because it was true. They had fought. They had bled. They had broken. But in the end, their hearts had always found their way back. And now, finally, they were exactly where they were meant to be. The End!

“You know. It’s just my favorite day of the year and all, so I’m not really excited or anything.” He laughed and pulled us out of his driveway. We drove out of town to meet his aunt. I was so nervous to meet her. I’d never had to meet a boyfriend’s parents before, so I wasn’t sure what the protocol was. But Louise was sweet and greeted me warmly with a handshake. I’d almost expected her to be a hugger. “Thank you for having us out,” I said to her. She waved her hand. “I’m happy to have you here,” she said. “I needed to meet this girlfriend my nephew’s been going on about anyway.”

“He’ll never love you.” “And I’ll never love you.” I replied, my eyes locked on his. “I’ll never love you, Zesa.” I staggered. Camera lights. Cheers. A contract. Levi. I could see brief images play in my head and hear the harsh words rolling off Levi’s tongue. I saw him cry at a restaurant after Nina chose money over him. Levi falling onto my body after kissing me. My damaged car. Our first time. I saw Finn crying in front of Maeve’s tombstone. Isiah’s pale face as he silently begged me to help him. Nina pushing me off an uncompleted building was the icing on the cake. I saw everything.

He tells me I’ll meet him at work on Monday. Hudson and I spend the weekend reacquainting ourselves with each other’s bodies. He is a god in bed! I think we managed 6 times that first day and night! ************************************************** Monday morning rolls around and I groan that I have to leave his bed to go to my apartment to get ready. That’s where all my things are. We make a plan to meet downstairs at 7:30 to head to the office. He takes me to my new desk closer to his office and he heads to his office. I get to work right away. A few hours in we have a team meeting. I head to the conference room and introduce myself to the new interns as I see them and chat with the ones

Kane was terribly close again, and he tilted his head, "I get it, it's personal. And we just met so I'm not going to pester you to tell me, but we're friends, so I'm here if you need me." The moment Kane left, Jay pressed his back against the door, and slid to the ground. This way he was feeling—the sudden warmth in his heart, feeling as if he mattered to at least somebody even if they had just met—made his eyes begin to tear up until he began sobbing against his palms.

“Then tell me… what am I supposed to do?” “If you really want to see me,” I said after a long pause, my voice steady, “go and get that burial plot I told you to buy. We’ll meet there one last time.” The day we agreed to meet, the sky was dark with clouds. The burial plot Isaac had purchased was located on the outskirts of the city. The surroundings were peaceful, lined with tall pine trees swaying gently in the wind. This was the only respect I could give the child who never had the chance to come into this world.

She had known about our marriage from the beginning. Cael answered according to the script, “It was quite a magical first meeting for us. I don't know another word that would fit it. It was love at first sight. We met in a cinema whose name I won't mention. It wasn't a popular movie so there were barely a handful of people there. I had mistakenly knocked off her box of popcorn and she was really pissed off with me. I apologized, of course, and even offered to buy her a new box but she refused. I had fallen in love with her then but I thought she hated me.” The hostess blushed, “I'm going to have you stop there, Cael. Can you continue the story, Zara? Tell us your own point of view.”

I quietly grabbed a seat off to the side, keeping to myself. Jenny, ever the life of the party, piped up, "Alright, everyone's here. Game time! Truth or Dare, people." Alice came out on top in the first round, with Yoel on the losing end. He picked the truth, and Alice, playing nice, asked him about any recent joys. Yoel's eyes twinkled as he looked at Alice with a tender gaze. "I met this amazing woman, and just like that, I had it all—a house, a car. And get this, she even took me for a spin in her brand-new car to unwind."

“Why? “ she asked back. “I do believe, because I fall in love the first time I meet you. “ he said. “Hmmm…. Are you sure??? “ she said. “Maybe you believe too. You just can’t accept it. “ he said. “How will you know that I believe in Love at first meet? “ she asked. “Because you make love at me on our first meet. “ he said and smiled. “Gosh, don’t reminisce it. I am not on my mind that time. “ she said. “Hmmm… don’t lie. You fell crazy while giving you romance. “ he said.

"Well, you already know what I do. It is not as if I could hide it from you if you know it already." "So how did you meet him?" Zee smiled, but the smile seemed distant, as she was deep in thought, deep in reminiscing about the past. About all the happy memories, I knew that she undoubtedly shared in all those three years with Scott. "We met in Cairo, Egypt. Believe it or not, he stopped me from getting kidnapped-" "Wait what?"
