“I need to get going now. Rosalie, Amanda and I are supposed to meet at the school fountain at exactly two twenty,” I said to him.
Todd smirked and tugged at my nose. “And you have to be there twenty minutes before, punctual as ever,” he finished.
My cheeks heated. “It’s always better to be earlier than on time,” I defended, squaring my shoulders as I turned my face so that Todd’s hand dropped to his side.
I missed his warmth on my face but I felt relieved because I could see some girls stealing glances at us.
