Instinctively, I clutched my belly, my voice barely a whisper. “Hospital… take me to the hospital.” Dario looked down at me, irritation clouding his eyes. “It’s just a fall. Is that really necessary? Back in the big hole, Megan was falling down really quickly. “Ah!” she screamed in fear. I heard everyone gasp, and I don’t want another pity from them! “Margareth and I used to know each other. I saw her on her eighteenth birthday. This bitch…” Please, no, no, please don’t tell them, Megan! Why is she doing this? “… didn’t shift!” Megan continued, and I think I forgot how to breathe. Nobody spoke after what she said. Celeste guided me through the yard like a tour guide in hell. “I've studied people like it's a course on its own,” she chirped. “Left is football. Right is boys who think they’re poetry. Megan was so anxious that she fell from the bed. However, Winston was quick to catch her waist so she didn't fall down. At that moment, Megan's face was so red that anyone could see it. She knew she had to look for Sage or Catlin. “God this sucks,” She whispered as she jumped over sharp rocks. Looking down Megan saw what looked like blood drops. They lead from the path of cookie cutter house on the empty block. Megan made sure to follow the simple signs of broken branches or footsteps in the dirt that ran along the rock path that had been laid years before. She wasn’t prepared when something had knocked her down. “Oh shit!” Groaned Megan. The demon didn’t waste any time punching her in the head. “Time to play witch.”

Meghan was at the forefront leading the whole squad, but as she took the next step forward, the next thing they all heard was a blood-curdling cry of pain, and the entire group froze in horror. "Arrrrrrrrrgh!" Meghan groaned aloud in agony, as she suddenly fell to the ground. She had unknowingly stepped on a trap, and a cruelly short silver spear had shuttled out of the ground and pierced deeply through Meghan's leg. The scene was gruesome, and Melinda was disoriented, she opened her eyes wide in sheer shock. She couldn't believe that the gory sight she was beholding was real. Blood was spilling out of Meghan's leg, and the sight was sickening.
