My Faithful Playboy

My Faithful Playboy

The man said while raising the book he was reading. Miya glance over the book when suddenly her eyes sparkled "Wow!!! I'm also reading the same novel right now." She became overly excited that she didn't notice that she suddenly speaks loudly and forgot that they were still in the library. The man noticed that the people in the library were staring at them so he suggested talking in some other place. "Well, we seem to like the same author. How about we talk somewhere else? I know it's so sudden but I think it's rare to see someone who has the same interest as mine. I hope it won't bother you." The man lowered his eyes as soon as he finishes talking afraid that his nervousness will be shown i

Mated (Mortal, Book Two)

Mated (Mortal, Book Two)

There's no sign of anyone inside, but we go in anyway. I don't know what I was expecting. Beer cans everywhere, maybe a few pool tables, a bartender with piercings all over their face. I don't know. Something like that. What I wasn't expecting was an old man in a captain's uniform, reading a book by himself at the far end of the room. There's a large table in the center of the room, with a bunch of chairs in a circle. There are bottles everywhere, and the whole place smells like beer.

Forbidden Alpha Prince's Love

Forbidden Alpha Prince's Love

Malden smiled when Deagan said that. "You read my books?" He asked. Deagan smiled back. "You did not say it was wrong to read them," he said stubbornly. Yes, he had always seen the man read the so many books that he had hidden in his secret shelf. And since he always took him as his mentor, he had also tried reading as much as he could. "Okay..." Malden said in surrender, lifting his hands up. "I agree I did not say it was a sin."

Lucifer's Redemption

Lucifer's Redemption

They have to figure out things themselves. Loki coughed, cackled and made weird bird noises, but I was too busy engrossed in counting the magical little diamonds until I reached the left side of the throne. Behind it, I could hear mumbling just on the other side. Crawling around, I poked my head around the edge of the throne. A man with bright red hair that swayed into the wind or current that hovered around us a had it dancing wildly. His eyes scrunched, reading fine print, his finger trailing down the page as he swiftly turned to another page. In his hand, he held a book, The Idiot’s Guide for being Social. I snorted, which caused him to pause his reading and look straight ahead at the wal

Great story, I’m a fan of mythology and this novel has an unique and interesting way of combining folk tales, pagan and Christian beliefs. I loved the story and the outlines of every character and it’s way of redemption/salvation.

Scent of Obsession

Scent of Obsession

"He looked fine Nina." "Fine." A pause. "The man walked into my bookstore on a Wednesday morning, stood in the fiction section for four minutes holding a Fitzgerald like it personally owed him something, asked me if you liked working here, and you're telling me he looked fine." Liora pressed her lips together. "He asked about the Fitzgerald specifically?" she said carefully. "He didn't ask about it. He just picked it up." A pause. "The way he held it though Li. Like he didn't know why he was holding it and couldn't put it down. It was giving main character energy and he didn't even know it."

The Manhood Diaries

The Manhood Diaries

Adam glanced back down at the page, a faint smirk returning. “Man handled it though,” he murmured. “Didn’t panic, didn’t fumble it… just stayed in it.” He closed the book halfway again, shaking his head with a quiet chuckle. “Still… that’s not for everybody,” he added. “Takes a certain kind of mindset to even step into something like that.” He looked at the cover for a second, then back at the pages. “This book really doesn’t miss,” he said under his breath. Then, without hesitation—

The Alpha's Last Bond Breaker

The Alpha's Last Bond Breaker

Walls covered in centuries of art—paintings, tapestries, sculptures preserved with impossible care. At the far end. A chair. Simple wood. Old. And the man sitting in it, reading. He looked young. Mid-thirties. Dark hair. Pale skin. Eyes shifting between black and deep violet. He was reading. Didn't look up when we entered. Didn't look up as we crossed the enormous room. Didn't look up when we stopped ten feet away. Marcus waited. Kade waited. I watched. Then finally—unhurried, unconcerned—he closed the book. Set it aside.

The Name of the Rose

The Name of the Rose

"Can you knock me out?" "You've been unconscious and medicated too many times in recent days. Better not." The man paused, lit the oil lamp, and half-sat up, grabbing a book at random. "I'll read a novel to distract you. Try to bear it." In the simple wooden house, the deep male voice read aloud at an unhurried pace.

NAUGHTY DESIRES: A COLLECTION OF DARK EROTICA

NAUGHTY DESIRES: A COLLECTION OF DARK EROTICA

I preferred my books to people, and my imaginations to reality. One evening, as I was casually returning back a stack of books to the shelves, my eyes scanning the names for their proper places, I noticed a man sitting in the far corner of the library. He was deeply focused on a large, ancient-looking book, his brow furrowed in concentration. I paused, looking at him curiously, and I found myself stealing glances at him, intrigued by his presence and level of concentration in my peaceful domain.

All's Fair in love and hate

All's Fair in love and hate

A smile that had the Smith women swooning and had Claire rolling her eyes with disinterest. "I read when I get time" Only thing I read was fire manuals and a daily magazine on how to grill your meat right. Nothing more. "Really? Well I guess we have our man. How about you start us off Mr Cutler?" Claire challenged. I looked at the book's cover. Shameless they called it. More like trying to write porn on pages if anyone asked me. I had frisked the pages. Roughly and every page had a sex scene about the female lead getting stretched and filled with—
