I sucked in a sharp breath and smiled down at her. “What are you up to, Skye?” She looked up at me with those dark, wicked eyes, licked the head again, slower this time, letting her tongue swirl around the ridge. “You’re about to find out,” she whispered, her voice low and full of promise.

His face held a warm smile as usual and he showed his pearly white teeth. Scar playfully nudged him, "I am not a tigress, do I have fur and a tail." She sneered. Raine frowned slightly but chose to ignore her. Maya glanced at her before a malicious smile appeared on her lips. Without warning, she stretched out her hand. Her claws elongated instantly and slashed the upper hind leg of Raine's horse. The horse let out a loud cry. Before Raine could react, the frightened animal rose onto its hind legs. Raine gasped, her fingers tightened around the reins. For a second she almost lost her balance. The horse landed immediately and ran off.
