Slowly, she turned from the wreckage of the vanity. Sitting gracefully on the edge of her rumpled bed, as if she had always been there, was a woman. She was slender, dressed in a gown of flowing black, her hair a stunning cascade of white. Her face was ageless and beautiful, with knowing, cat-like eyes that held a cruel amusement. Morwen. “Hello, Lupiter,” the witch chuckled, her voice chilling purr her voice a silken whisper that seemed to slither through the room.

Delphina said. The end of Morana's lips twitched upon hearing what Delphina said. "What? I'm very sorry. I didn't raise him that way. I really wonder who that idiotic boy takes after" Amelia soon found herself staring at Morana's eyes with the exact same color as Damian's. A forest green kind of color. "Oh no, we were surprised but we understood why they decided to hide it" Delphina answered. Morana sighed. "That stupid son of mine didn't even tell me anything. I had to find out about it on the news!" Morana said as she emphasizes the word 'had'.

Cassandra's frantic heart thumped against her ribcage. She bucked and kicked her feet, but the monster's arms held her down like an octopus's. Then it twirled her body around. Cassandra finally came face to face with her captor. She saw through the clear water, a beautiful red-haired maiden wearing light, sheer robes as though made of mist. Her sleek icy pale body clung to the mortal girl while her green eyes blazed like two balls of glowing jade. Her melodious voice seemed to vibrate from the very molecule of the water.

I catch myself and regain my balance in order to avert the disaster in mid-collision. Mrs. Morales is a petite woman with a blue tint to her hair. She's what I like to refer to as "old money." She is the epitome of a professional widow, with incredible stories about each marriage. Her husbands died and left everything to her... all six of them. I'm not one to speculate, but I'm curious if all of their deaths were as natural as she claims.Maybe it's because I watch too many crime shows. Each man she married had a higher net worth than the previous one. She freely spends her money on her dog and whatever new boy toy she picks up for the evening because she has no children.

Putting on my black high heels I give myself a last check before heading downstairs as I hear the first cars arriving. Arriving quietly behind my parents as they welcome the first couple – Alpha Zachary and Luna Rachel from the Blood Moon Pack, I step beside my father in time to shake Alpha Zachary’s and Luna Rachel’s hands. My mother and father give me a stern look, acknowledging my close to late arrival. I smile and continue with some small talk with Luna Rachel as Alpha Jackson continues speaking with Alpha Zachary and his Beta Sam. Luna Rachel is a beautiful woman. With her blond hair, brown eyes, and petite frame she is clearly the light in Alpha Zackary’s eyes.

She narrowed her eyes. “What are you talking about?” I walked to the far corner of the study and opened the drawer of my desk. Inside, a box. Old. Locked. And untouched for years. Until now. I opened it slowly and pulled out an old photograph. A young woman, beautiful, soft-eyed, with that same raven-black hair and fire in her gaze. Lysandra looked over my shoulder. “Who is that?” I smiled coldly. “Her name was Marissa.”

Emma chipped in. Eve turned towards the two womaen asking her the same question repeatedly and yelled angryly. “I said i don't know. What else do you want me to say? I came alone.”and again, Her hands played with her earrings. “Fine then.”Emma voice potrayed wrath, “Then i won't hesitate to show you that you're nothing but a dog used by the organization.” She picked her phone, dialed a number and the person picked at the first ring.

SABLE'S POV: Sable Morwenna is living in a small flat in Brighton with her daughter Elara, a toddler with dark hair and her mother's eyes, and she hates every second of it. The flat is nothing like the Kensington apartment she used to have, the one with the high ceilings and the original moldings and the windows that looked out over the garden square. That apartment belonged to another life, a life where she had money and status and a billionaire wrapped around her finger. This flat is cramped and cold and the walls are thin and the neighbors are loud and the carpet is stained in places she does not want to look too closely at.
