Merlin Mythology Novels & Stories

“Please do not shed tears anymore, miss.” Before Maleficent could retort back, Merlin already turned to the next corner—leaving her alone as she tried to reach her arm in his direction to call him. Merlin the wizard. Two hundred twenty years old. Attended Transylvania Academy five years ago. Ability: Necromancy. His innate ability made him the walking bane of the nature wizards. Maleficent still fixated her eyes on the corner where he turned into. The newly resurrected butterfly fluttered before her. Waving her hand, Mimi the butterfly reduced into a pile of ash before she turned to him.

Even if I didn’t know it before, there was always a bit of Kay in Embyr. Since regaining my sanity and coming into this company of knights, Merlin has been training me in how to access the powers that have always been there, waiting. Even so, it did not fully prepare me for what I intend to do. I was warned to never pull too strongly from Avalon itself, so it is only the faintest thread that I unravel from the ground beneath my feet, letting it warm me, becoming a part of who I am as I integrate it into my own spirit to fuel my work.

Ironic how Shananel had drilled this into her mind ever since she was young And now, it was time to put them into action in front of her former mentor’s masterpiece. After the two attempts of the curse of the spells created by Merlin, seven branches from the Methuselah trees raced towards Diana. Their width was now bigger than her two arms combined and their sharpness gleaming under the moonlight sheen, the curse placed by Merlin was now out to take her head.

His eyebrows raise, “Oh, I thought you would have people in your human world you call Tricksters.” “Unless you’re talking about Loki, then no.” “What’s a Loki?” Gecko interrupts. “Uh, a non...person, don’t worry about it.” Corvu clears his throat and leans up when he answers, “A Trickster is someone, usually of Elf relation, born of magic that’s known to drag a curse along with them wherever they go. We’re apparently bad luck and because of that we’re usually tormented as children, by the time we’re older we usually hate everyone and everything so Tricksters are widely known as the worst Daemonaria to put your trust into.” He finishes with a wicked snicker. It was a lot to take in but I coul

“There are male sirens, obviously, or the species would die out in one generation.” “Only a man would find that important to point out,” I rolled my eyes and lifted my head from the pages. “Another book claims they’re half fish and half women.” “I think that author confused sirens with mermaids, and whilst the two are often associated, they are not the same,” he dismissed the description. “I’ve noticed neither scale nor feather on you,” he added with a smirk. I flushed. “Shh,” I cautioned him sending a look to our nearest neighbour, a young man whose cheeks coloured brightly as I looked at him. “Rivyn,” I frowned at the mage. “That’s indecorous.”

Rico asked while Merlin was undressing my clothes. “I am a sorcerer. I was tasked by Aria, the goddess of the fox world to look for this person, Emir.” “Are you here to restore Emir’s memories?” “I hope so, yes. But I am just helping him out leading the right way. It does up to Emir if he’s soul would cooperate.” Draku handed to Rico the wooden bowl and slashed his palm with his claws. His blood dropped to the bowl. Merlin painted ancient symbols into my chest and forehead using Rico’s blood.

She has no choice but to endure whatever the Great Warlock puts her through, it is her right of passage to becoming a true daughter of Merlin. She took her hand away from Aurora and stood back bowing her head, Child in time Child of thine Two halves One whole A seed planted deep A secret to keep Created for him Daughter of Merlin’ For a few tense seconds, there was absolute silence and total darkness and then it seemed to the watching wolves that all hell broke loose.

He shrugged. “Myths and legends are all based in some kind of reality.” She guessed that he was right. Sybil came back to present time and stared out the window just thinking. She had been reading up on a few things. Her time with Niba had made her think about herself a little bit. Niba kept calling her a pythoness. One who was connected to all branches of magic but tended to master in one area quickly. Pythons were rare because they were able to fully learn other branches of magic where most witches were only ever to truly master one. Niba said the last known here was Morgana. That her brother Merlin had disappeared some time ago to an unknown fate. Well guess Areis comment about myths and

"A goddess, nonetheless. I am unfamiliar with this Merlin. If you could please provide us with a brief history, we will be better able to determine if we can assist in whatever capacity you require." Ari nodded. "Merlin was a wizard of some repute. He once aided kings before our times progressed beyond their system of rule. Legend says that he is the bastard child of a demon and noble woman. He's immensely powerful, able to shape-shift, change perceptions of reality, and control the elements." I looked up at my grandmother, my mouth hanging open. "And you think I can beat him by myself?"

This time, Richard’s eyes didn’t role but a instead a small smile crept onto his face. “This one is a little more interesting. There are many notations that suggest that Merlin was a real person, just not a man. Some sources suggest that Alpha Excalibur had a witch working for him. Most suggest that the witch was imprisoned while others say that it was Excalibur’s lover. It is hard to know which is truth but all agree that even then Eli’s family wanted close connections with magic.” “Do we know anything else about Excalibur previous to his battle with Arthur?”
