“I’ve never been able to part with any of them. They’re kinda like pieces of me.”
I nodded. “Well, the pieces of you are gorgeous.”
I studied the artwork a little longer, moving toward a family portrait of a young man about Blair’s age, his hair curly and his smile bright.
“That’s Micah,” she said.
“Oh,” I murmured.
“Yeah, he’s my twin.”
I turned to Blair, completely shocked. “You’re twins?”
“Yup,” Blair chuckled. “We don’t exactly look alike.” She gestured at her blonde hair, then at the portrait where Micah sported short brown curls and warm, chocolate-brown eyes, as opposed to her translucent blue ones.
