Love At Midnight

Love At Midnight

Midnight, “Who remembered me so late at night?” I wondered. I opened the message. The number was unknown to me. The message was saying: ‘What are you doing?’ “Are they kidding me? What could I do for such an hour?” I thought. “Anyway, I will answer, and I will see.” I answered: “I am out grazing the sheep.” I waited for a little while, and the answer came: “That is funny. Are you going to milk it too? I mean, if you are okay.”

Midnight, however, refuses to vanish them back to the yurt and have done with it. “Let’s just go closer,” Jesse mutters. “No!” Midnight hisses. “We must stay unseen. Darkness doesn’t want anyone to know about me. I’m his super spy.” The last bit is preening. “Then just call him up and tell him what you’ve found,” Jesse sighs. “Or, better yet, never talk to him again and zip us back to Moon Valley.” “You’re being a brat, Jesse,” Midnight snaps. “You begged to come along and now you won’t even let me do my job.”

Excellent storyline. Ending lacking completion. The last chapter was rushed skipped a year in the timeline. Very disappointing. Same with Julie's story. That said will the other stories be written, Rafe's, Jesse's $ Mark's?

I am really really enjoying this book! Initially, I wasn’t too keen on the double fated mates premise, but as I keep reading it all comes together. I love how exciting the story unfolds. All the characters, the smart funny banter, the friendships, character growth, and story development is awesome!

Contracted to the Uncrowned King

Contracted to the Uncrowned King

"I'd take him being stupid and in the closet over supporting a cheating, rapist, drug dealer." "I take it you've heard the preliminary notes of the investigation…" I glanced across the way to the luna of the territory where Midnight Park was. She lifted her glass, her eyes narrowed in fury. I nodded at her. "More of that noble solidarity?" Theodore asked. "It never ends," I said. "Midnight and Darkmoon are both being kept in the loop if you're worried." Theodore shook his head. "I'm just getting more pissed off… but at least breakfast will be good."

The Not so Cursed Life of Brianna Lindolh

Her attire was almost normal but rather than heels she wore sneakers and Lynne rolled her eyes at that detail. "Good morning to you to my dear." Lynne greeted back "How can I help you today?" This is actually their code word for 'what have you found out?' to avoid any suspicion in public "I came to confess my sins." Midnight replied which means 'I have something important to tell you.' quickly Lynne grabbed her arm and lead her to an empty confession booth "What have you found out?" "They're planning on killing you tonight." "But why tonight, they could have done it in the last couple of days?" Lynne asked it took them a week later than anticipated

MOONLIGHT MYSTIQUE

MOONLIGHT MYSTIQUE

He slipped the phone out, shielding the screen. Three new messages. He’ll suffocate you, moonlight. I’ll show you freedom. You want to say no, but your body already betrayed you. Meet me. One chance. Midnight. The old library wing. Eliot’s stomach dropped. Midnight. The words burned into him like fire. He should delete them. He should erase Damien from his life before Theo noticed. But his thumb lingered over the screen, trembling, betraying the truth he refused to say aloud. He wanted to go.

Heir of Secrets: My Enemy's Child

Heir of Secrets: My Enemy's Child

He double‑locked like a rule‑follower and I cried in the kitchen in the quiet way you learn when you’ve trained your body not to make sound in an apartment with thin walls. My phone buzzed on the counter. Unknown. A new message—no file this time. Live at midnight was all it said. A link followed to a countdown page with a blank thumbnail and a title that read: oxygen—MIDNIGHT SERVICE. Under it, a description: Finally, the human angle. Watch. Believe. Share. The timer showed 00:53:12. My stomach tightened again, then let go as if I’d convinced it not to. I took a screenshot, forwarded it to independent counsel and Security, and typed: We’ll be there. We won’t feed it. But we’ll be there.

MIDNIGTH KILLER

MIDNIGTH KILLER

He had in his office the scarce evidence, a few photographs of crime scenes, drawings and even vampire cartoons, of something he was completely sure, that was done by a human, and he was someone who knew where to attack, supernatural beings did not exist, The science that he loved so much made him doubt about those nocturnal creatures, this was a man who hated the female gender, and he would find it. The headlines read: STRIKE AGAIN! THE MIDNIGHT KILLER. Now they were two women who were presumably servants of the night, they woke up on the nearby dock, both with looks of terror and those marks made with a fine-edged weapon. A figure was walking along the pier, it was close to five in the mor

The Confession

The Confession

She silently thanked God for this moment in her life. Roslyn and David retired to bed, but Roslyn couldn’t sleep. She fretted the entire night; Roslyn tilted her head to the side ad glance at the sleeping figure beside her; she reached out her hand and patted his back softly. David slowly stirred and looked at her with concern. He wondered why Roslyn was waking him up at midnight. Perhaps she has something to discuss with him. “What’s wrong, deah, you need something?” he asked. Roslyn was quick to nod her head. “I—I want water.” David knitted his brow he doesn’t understand why she’d to wake him up because of water. “Only water?” he asked, and Roslyn nodded her head again. “Okay. I’ll asked t
