MIDNIGHT: Whispers from the Dark Sea

MIDNIGHT: Whispers from the Dark Sea

He had not seen his mother's face for almost three years! The soldiers are no less. They were always willing to hold him down for his father to torture him. The servants treated him worse. Everything would have been bearable if his appearance were his only flaw. Dante was half insane too. During some nights he was normal, other nights, especially at midnight, a strange song in his head would exert control over him. He would destroy things, try to end his life, and end up locked away in chains in the palace barn.

Lupus Noctrine: Symphony Of The Cursed Lycan Quadruplets

It was the sound of the foundation cracking. "Midnight is coming, Ayla," Silas whispered, his hand sliding into the silky storm of ink that was her hair, his grip just a little too tight. "And when that lock clicks open, they’re going to find a monster. But it won't be the one they’re expecting. I am my father's son, but I am not his dog."

Mated To Her: The Beginning of Revenge

Zion followed my lead and took a seat right next to me. Before he could say anything, midnight started jumping around now excited for some reason. Then the door was pushed opened. “Daddy, I…” she came in and I stood. “Mate!” midnight said, and I stood angered by his words. “Oh, dear Goddess, mate! You are my mate!”

Winter Flower: Bloom for the Alpha

Winter Flower: Bloom for the Alpha

Being ripped off of two decades with your son is already an open wound, hearing that her son’s two decades without her was filled with pain and agony is just like adding salt to that wound. “Midnight, was it? The name of your pack?” Alpha Jared suddenly asked. Gavin turned to him, and nodded. “Yes. The Midnight Pack. Just like my current pack, the Moon Valley, they are also a neutral pack.” There is a certain warmth that grazes his chest every time he mentions Moon Valley as his own. His pack now. A place he could call his own, as it is the place of his home. And judging from the way Ainar’s chest seemed to puff out in pride every time he mentions it, he would assume the alpha feels just the

And across from her are the Wintermoon brothers. Kane is the oldest. Built like a tank with scars across his knuckles. Drake is in the middle. Leaner but with dead eyes that miss nothing. Ryder is the youngest but somehow the scariest, he has a smile that never reaches his eyes. "Timothy." Dad's voice is cold. "You're late." "Traffic." I take my seat beside Sophia. "Sorry." She doesn't look at me. Her hands are folded in her lap. Perfectly composed. But I can feel her tension.

The Moonlight Affair

The Moonlight Affair

My father and his were best of friends, even making a pact for the both of us to continue their bloodline before their tragic deaths—more so a betrothal. I was betrothed to Asher Blackwood, the Luna to the Alpha—and yet he refused to see the connection between us. It was a match made in heaven, despite my brashness towards him, it was evident I loved him greatly. “Dinah..” he murmured as he got to me after greeting the other members of the pack. The Midnight pack consisted of many members, but they were scattered across the country.. only few such as Asher and myself, traditional to the core reside in Midnight Bay, away from humans.

Creatures of THE Night

Creatures of THE Night

"Look, he's the real deal, Ronnie. He's making this city a better place, promising all those things Mayor Alston said he would take care of. I would have thought you'd be into Midnight, considering he's the only one stepping to—" "Hey now, you know who dullahans work for." The damning silence borders on deafening. It's a mean card to pull, but one that still bears a lot of truth. What could Xavion say, that dullahans weren't the loyal servants to Sidhe lords? The same type who'd murdered my parents? "I'm sorry, dude, no offense, but Mister Midnight Cowboy might not be as clean as you're making him out to be given who he calls master. Besides, wasn't he the one who killed that wechuge a while

He'll fight for you and go to war for you and others who are innocent and need it. He will fill my shoes and more. He will be better than me and better than his grandfather,” Reid said, his eyes going to Thaddeus, and he struggles to keep his eyes dry when he sees tears in his father's eyes. Thaddeus looks just as proud today as he was the day he took his place. “He will be a better Alpha and a stronger Alpha King. This also allows the Werewolf King to see what is happening to his people and take action to correct it. While this book is still in progress, and I am not aware of where she will take this. It would, in my opinion, benefit the werewolves to have a king and higherarchy with regulations set in place.

This is a great book!!! I love the storyline & the depth of the characters. I've read all Abigail's books but this could be read on its own. I really love seeing characters grow and mature, find their mates, help them thru trauma. I am excited to read this book everyday, its a highlight of my day!

Bound by vengeance

Bound by vengeance

Midnight cleared his throat, and when I looked at him, his face was dark. “Gutemberg’s father comes from a traditional family. The illegal business, just like the legal one is a legacy. He hates that his son refuses to take the place prepared for him. But more than that, he hates that Gutemberg got involved with a gang instead of following the family line.” My nails dug into Timmy’s arms. “So he wants control of his own son?” Midnight nodded, his eyes dark as a moonless night. “He’ll do whatever it takes to have Gutemberg on his side. And if he sees you as a problem, a distraction? He’ll eliminate you.”

Frequently Asked Questions

The Midnight Man' is a horror game that really gets under your skin, and its main characters are as unsettling as the gameplay itself. The protagonist is a young woman named Sarah, who's drawn into this terrifying ritual after finding an old letter in her grandmother's attic. She's relatable because she starts off skeptical but quickly realizes there's no escaping the nightmare. Then there's the titular Midnight Man himself—this eerie, shadowy figure who emerges once the ritual starts. He’s not just some generic monster; he feels like a manifestation of pure dread, hunting you down relentlessly. The game also introduces other characters through notes and flashbacks, like Sarah’s grandmother, who knew more about the ritual than she let on.

What makes 'The Midnight Man' stand out is how it blurs the line between reality and horror. Sarah’s fear feels palpable, especially when the game forces you to make choices that could mean life or death. The Midnight Man isn’t just a villain; he’s an inevitability, creeping closer no matter what you do. It’s one of those experiences that lingers in your mind long after you’ve put the controller down, partly because the characters feel so real in their desperation.
