“I see…so, what you’re saying is that I should do you a favour and put you out of your misery?…” “And as violently as possible too?”. Rei’s sneer fades. She looks up at Misa with an unreadable expression. “What? Can’t take a little heat?… I thought you Aronohais liked banter?”. “Sure we do”. Misa replies cheerfully. “But anyone would get irritated if they had a very stubborn fly buzzing around their house…and I for one cannot stand insects”. “See Sakura, if I’m an insect, then what are you?”. She turns to face Sakura with a small smile, then she points a finger at Misa. “Someone like this will never see you as a person— ”.

One month ago… “Good Morning people of New York, this is Radio Splash FM and I’m your girl Miranda Lain. Now I’m sure I told everyone last week, that Splash FM will be having an interview with the sensational, one and only, L.K, aka the Masked Queen of New York City. We’re going to be having an impersonal, phone interview to give everyone a chance to know what’s behind the sudden news of a breakup between L.K and her agency. Please, everyone, hold on while we make this call.” *~*~*~* “Over here, she ran over here!” I increase my pace and barge through the emergency doors, running down the stairs with heavy breaths. I stop on the last stair and wait to hear if they’re still chasing after me,

Nikki whispered behind my ears and I had to elbow her gently. “Oh, who’s this?” Michiko suddenly noticed Jane’s presence. Is she really this clueless? “It’s Jane!” Jane chirped in reply. “JANE?! But I thought you were going to be Belle?” Michiko asked the same question we had in mind when we first laid eyes on her. “I’ve decided not to do Belle.” Jane uttered. “But I’m Annabelle and at least, there’s still a Belle in it.” She chuckled and I could clearly tell she was ready for Michiko to leave.

XAVIE Despite the nerves wrecking me from the inside, I plastered a smile to my face as Annika greeted me at the foot of the entrance. Worried about the drastic turn Kian’s plan had taken, I could only follow along because what other choice do we fucking have? Right there, another car pulled up, revealing Abigail. Luna of the Keystone pack who currently owes me two favours, one of which I’m hoping to use today. However, looking at Annika, she doesn’t seem too pleased to see her.

62 ANNALISE The air around us was heavy with anticipation. Janet’s words echoed in my mind—Marcus had become more powerful, more dangerous than we could have imagined. He was no longer just a threat to our realm, but to the earth realm as well. The chaos he had unleashed was spreading, and I could feel it in every corner of our world.

Fortunately, no one seemed to hear me. “Eliza.” Annie nudged me from behind. I turned to see what she wanted, and she showed me a post on her phone. It was a simple picture of a studio microphone, with a caption underneath that read: "Dear fans, thank you all for the support I've received over the past few months. I'll be back soon with my next album. Stay tuned for updates!" Above the post, the profile name "Lisa Official", along with a picture of me, made it clear there was no mistake. I frowned, realizing this was Marcos’s doing.

Ariana: oh, what is it this time? Anika: You'll find out tomorrow Annie: Y'all good night,I'm going to bed Ariana: Me too, sweet dreams guys❤️❤️ Anika: Goodnight 😘😴

Milo seemed like a kind, angelic teen on the surface, but deep down he was a complete menace. A menace to everyone, including poor Miaka. "I'm sorry, Miaka, but you have to, it's the only way my friend here, Jack, can be saved," said Anna Sasin. Miaka nodded. "Fine, but I am pregnant remember, so no funny business," she told the teenage bully sternly. "Whatever," the teen said and shrugged his shoulders. "We have another rescue mission so we might as well get going and get it over and done with."

(Layla) I spun around at the sharp impact on my back, my heart leaping into my throat. Annie sat in her wheelchair wearing the most horrifying rubber mask I’d ever seen. Bulbous red eyes bulged from sickly green skin while jagged yellow teeth protruded at twisted angles. Ridged black horns curved up from its grotesque forehead, making her look like a demon spawned from the darkest corners of hell. “Gotcha!” Annie yanked off the mask, doubling over in her wheelchair. Her laughter peeled through the room. “Your face! Oh my god, your face when you turned around!”
