Mikel replied blushing while shaking his hands. "You know them?" I asked Liam once we were all seated. "Yes. Don't you remember, I told you before that Mikel left with Samuel and that Oliver is his brother, from the club?" I frowned trying to remember. "You're too young to be very forgetful, love." He chuckled and I laughed along with him. "Sorry, I had so many things in mind. I don't really remember." I felt everyone was looking at us so I decided to change the topic. "So, what's the good news?"

I asked, surprised. He nodded, smiling a bit at my expression. “In one way or another, yeah. My oldest brother works in the city on Wall Street and helps Killian move his money around. His name is Rich. Loren is a cop here in Philly, and Johnnie works down in Jersey at the docks as a spy.” I knew how risky it was for Mikey to be telling me these things. He couldn’t really trust me this much, could he? Mention of his brothers launched the couple into a conversation about their lives. All of their hopes and dreams tied back to the protection they had against the world because of Killian.

Ricky mused. I pulled out my phone and flipped through photos of the family, pausing at a picture of Nik throwing one of Mikael’s kids up in the air. I had taken the picture and I was proud of it. What can I say? It was a really good shot. “That’s Nik. He’s my older brother.” Relief flooded Ricky’s face. “Oh! That explains it! That Morpheus guy is your brother’s friend, right?” I couldn’t stop the burst of laughter which escaped from between my lips.

It was Mike’s turn to order his sister. Mika was also playing a game. Her face became sullen when she heard her brother’s order. “Mike, I’m playing too. Didn’t Mommy tell you to?” Mika protested without moving from her seat. “It’s just a baby game. You won’t die if you leave it for a while.” Mike tapped the screen of the phone in his hand even more intensively. “Akh!” An exclamation came out of Mike’s mouth. The character he was playing was shot by the opponent. He paused for a moment staring at the screen as it changed appearance.

I mentally prepare for what I'm about to hear. "Sinful and I aren't necessarily close," Micah tells me, running his hand back through his silvery hair. It exposes the minty colour underneath. "Technically, he's my brother." My mouth opens in shock, without me being able to control it. "Brothers?" I say in disbelief. "You have the same parents? You grew up with him?"

he said. "I so wish I was awake to talk you out of giving him that long name. Is that like an Italian thing?" I asked, laughing through my tears. I looked down at Andrea only to see him smiling at me. "Why is it that it's always your brother that knows so much? I think he and I just have some odd intuition. It's a stepbrother, stepsister kind of thing, right?"

I looked over to my mum and the girls discussing animatedly with Luca having his afternoon nap on mum's lap. "Your mum and aunt were thinking of hanging out together one of these days without me" Mickey whined at Damien. "Are you sure he's your older brother? Damien asked looking at me and Anna. Because this one here is a child trapped in a man's body. "Hey that was mean" "Yeah right " Damien rolled his eyes a t his uncle. "You guys could just hang out with him if you don't want him to keep whining like a brat". "See, even your nephew thinks you're a brat now stop with the whining. Anna said glaring at Mikey making him pout. I rolled my eyes at his antics.

“But man was Spin fucking mad” “Anyway… Are we heading back to your place soon?”, she asks, then turns to Jonny. “I wanna call Mikey but I doubt your little brother is going to leave me alone long enough to FaceTime him and I don’t need a jealous Mikey… He’s no fun”! I just shake my head at how immature Meme still is. Kudos to Mikey for putting up with that! “He’s a typical horny twenty-one-year-old”, Jonny says.

Before reaching Ace’s office, Mikki was able to hear Fitz’s voice from the other end of the hallway, even with the door closed. She should’ve been used to her brothers being overprotective over her, but somehow, she felt really surprised and also loved whenever they did anything of that sort. Fitz, however, was a special case. He was really close to Mikki, and they had a very nice sibling relationship, something it was harder to get with someone much older than her, like Ace; or much younger, like Don.

He cried quietly since he was aware that the men might come looking for him if they found out he was still alive. Since his brother was the only member of his family still alive, Michael adored him and would give his life to protect him. The only thing that his brother failed to do, regrettably, was to explain to his little brother about the seven monsters' identities, motives, and why Michael has the same small moon tattoo on his right chest.
