No amusement for me that she brought milk with her this time. “Sorry to disturb Milady….I ….” I interrupted her before she completes her sentence. “No Teresa, you don’t need to refer me as Milady. Just call me Debra. That will sound more pleasant to me. please……” I requested her cause she has been referring me as milady which had me feel like I was respected more than I deserve. You shouldn’t use courtesy with me, I’m more like you” The girls looked at each other, surprised at what the woman had said. “We can’t remove the courtesy, my lady. The tradition requests for all royals to be regarded like that. Can we come in my lady?”
