Dangerous. Patrons and staff of SubTerra used only one word to describe Jon Moretti; dangerous. He was one of many dangerous men who walked through the clandestine establishment, and yet Jon Moretti was the one they warned her about. Career criminals, thieves, arsonists, gang members, murderers… the club was a prestigious hub, built specifically to give these menacing people a place where, ironically, they could feel safe. A place they knew police officers wouldn’t be barging through the door to arrest them, thanks to a low-key business agreement between the owner, Frank Muscovado, and some crooked government officials with the power to sweep the booming business under the rug.

Melissa stares at Francis blankly before she looks away. The glass doors slide open and Francis and the two officers walk out into the pouring rain. Instantly, Francis' suit and plain trousers get wet. His short black hair stick his face and neck as the officers take him to the police car parked beside the glassy skyscraper. The shorter officer opens the back door and the Italian officer puts Francis in the backseat before closing the door. Francis stares at the building as the car's ignition starts before speeding away.

When these men went from there she removed her hand. "Noah, listen carefully. we are in danger right now! Mr. K's men are following us and I'm sure he ordered them to kill us so we have to run…. right now!" She explained and he nodded indicating that he's ready. She called the trio and informed them of the situation and told them to come to the central point where they were last together. In the next 10 minutes, they all reached the central point. They got into their car which was parked nearby and started driving to their house. Lewis was the one driving.

“I am Miles, the Delta of the Still Moon Pack.” That explained his aura. He was 6 feet tall with a lean build refined by countless years spent as a warrior and an enforcer. He had short, shiny black hair, a chiseled face, and tanned skin. “Thanks for lending a hand. You arrived just as we were losing out,” Miles said, though his expression was anything but thankful. He watched me guardedly, but I couldn’t understand why he was so wary. “I’m happy to help. A threat to one is a threat to all,” I said as my eyes strayed back to my mate.

“Well, don’t force me to get tough with you. I’m not a patient man. Call up the b*st*rd Zayn and have him be here in three minutes! Or else, I’m going to toss you and your family members into the sea to feed the sharks!” Miles’ expression was ferocious, savage and filled with threat. He appeared especially terrifying. In addition, the subordinates behind him were big and strong. They did not look like good people. The sight of them drove Rube and Waine shuddering in fear. They were petrified.

Elena reviewed their escape routes and safe houses once more. The gravity of the mission pressed on them, but it was their shared determination that kept the fear at bay.
