My Mysterious Mate

My Mysterious Mate

The darkness of the surrounding forest seemed to close in on us as he led me deeper into the unknown, our footsteps crunching in the undergrowth as we pressed forward. We stopped abruptly when we saw a woman standing in front of a raging fire, her back turned to us and another woman, who sat beside Alice close to the fire. The woman was chanting in a language I couldn't understand. My heart skipped a beat when I recognized her as Alice, and the other woman, my mother, her hair wild and unkempt in the firelight. I couldn't see her face. Alice raised a bloody organ, a heart, which I guessed was from the monster Ryan had talked about, in one hand and a knife in the other.

The Mate I Can't Have

The Mate I Can't Have

"I haven't slept on it. We do it exactly as we've talked about. We start the rumors, and the rest works its way up from there." Hilda grinned harder, her head nodding in pleasant agreement. "Excellent, for I can attend to that. I know various gossips who would let fly any morsel they might pick up about Niylah. All I need to do is drop one juicy tidbit in the right ear, and it's off.” "Perfect," I said, a thrill running through me. "And I'll take care of the other things. I'll start with her books. I know which ones she's obsessed with—she leaves them lying around in the library sometimes. I'll just… make a few disappear."

My Mate’s Betrayal

My Mate’s Betrayal

I spent years searching for a way to restore your sight. My dear Mia, did it hurt to be betrayed by those closest to you? I can’t imagine the despair you must have felt. My dear Mia, were you afraid when you were killed? You always feared pain the most. You were the kind of little princess who would cry for half a day over a mere scratch. My dear Mia, I’m so sorry. You must have felt so helpless and alone. I was too late. I should have come sooner. I hate Rowan with every fiber of my being and have already exiled him from Moonshadow Wolf Tribe.

Sunshine and The Beast

Sunshine and The Beast

It was like stepping into a life that had been abruptly abandoned, left untouched, frozen in time. I let my fingers graze the surface of the bookshelf, scanning the spines of novels and old journals, framed photos capturing memories I had never been part of. A mug sat half-full on the coffee table, its contents long dried, a sweater draped across the couch as if she had only left for a moment. But she hadn’t. She never would again. Matthias was silent beside me, his movements precise, methodical. He had a way of seeing things I didn’t, of dissecting the details, searching for something I wasn’t even sure we’d find.

When Mates Collide

When Mates Collide

Welcome to Volume Four of When Mates Collide. This volume will proceed from where volumes one, two, and three stopped. With Nate, Elliott, and Darrell finding their happily ever after, we are left with our cynical bad boy, Danny, whose heart needs mending. Due to this, this volume will focus on Danny as the first main character and everyone else as the supporting main character. I can't wait to dive into writing his story and I hope you are just as excited as I am. Don't hesitate to let me know your thoughts in the comments section, I would love to hear from you. Also, you can check out my mafia book; To Love A Bologna whenever you can. Trust me, you'll love it.

The Mate Hunt

The Mate Hunt

The metal nib scratched across the parchment. Maeve Cross. The letters appeared darker than every other name on the page. Perhaps that was only because I knew what they meant. Perhaps the book itself understood I had not come here seeking wealth, protection, or a powerful mate. I had come to commit murder. The registrar’s eyes dropped to my name. Her expression changed. Only slightly. The corner of her mouth tightened. Her gaze lifted to my face again, sharper this time, as though she were comparing me to someone she remembered.

I said and dropped the pen. "Remember when you always refuse to leave here?" He asked and I scoffed. "Didn't I just say we should leave the topic?" I asked and he nodded his head and bit his lips as he tried to hold back his laughter. "Better swallow that laughter." I said through the mind link, faking annoyance and stepped out of the office. We walked through the pack lands and I sighted the Elder that was in charge of repair of the pack houses, Elder Matthew. "Alpha." They greeted with a bare of their neck but what my eyes was fixed on the lady they were holding unto. I saw her some where. Where?

Luna’s Replacement

Luna’s Replacement

***Naomi's POV*** -"Huh, nothing." Matt throws the book he was holding across the table. His eyebrows were frowned together, showing his growing frustration. He walks back to the Library's encyclopedia section, browsing through the nearby shelves. -"The pack's Library is enormous. I am sure we will find some answers. We just need to be patient." I say as I stroll through the book I am holding. Matt wasn't the only one running out of patience. Truth be told, mine was nearing its end as well.

The Mates of Monsters

The Mates of Monsters

Shadow patterns drift over the land, and I'm always happiest when the clouds cast their darkness, and it becomes so dark at times that you glance up to assure yourself that it isn't yet night. We arrive just as David drags the blue mat into place. It seems to be something for my well-being and not his. I'm sure David doesn't need a foam barrier to keep his body from the unforgiving ground, but me-we must protect this body. I look down at the mat and remember exactly how it felt underneath me. Back then, having David so close was like dancing with the devil. "I'll be over here if you need me," Jeremy says. "After, we'll review some emails you've received from a few Union members."

This is a very good book and can be part of my Recommended List. And for readers like me who like to read reviews first before deciding if they will read the book, this is NOT your TYPICAL werewolf story if you’re like me who loves reading them. BUT it’s very worthy tackling the true concept of MATE

What a delight! Well-written, this story is an expression of the authors maturity in writing and in story telling. Internal dialogue and conflict of our main is the whole story, the tone slightly heavy. Great feminist lead, who has her cake and eats it too! Also the Alpha is pretty great too.
