Jensen My mouth is dry, and my head is pounding. I vaguely remember falling asleep in the car while JT chewed our asses out for drinking and fighting. The bikers started it. Storm and I finished it, is all. Were we supposed to let them beat us bloody? I like to fight, but I’m not a masochist. I don’t enjoy pain, but it helps to clear the brain. When I fight I can focus on it with blank uncluttered mine. I can’t meditate on shit, so the only way I can achieve mindfulness is while fighting. Or maybe I’m just hyper-focusing? I felt like I was on the verge of a mental breakdown, like my mind was going to explode from the pressure. I closed my eyes, trying to calm myself down, but it was no use. I still couldn't remember anything. My memories were still shrouded in a thick fog, refusing to come back to me.

And somewhere, in the back of my fractured, panicking mind, one thought breaks through the chaos. I'm fucked. So, so fucked.

It was frustrating and disheartening, and they began to wonder if they would ever be able to solve the mystery. But then, a breakthrough came. Miranda had been studying the message for hours, her mind racing with possibilities, when she suddenly noticed something unusual about the code. It was a subtle shift in the pattern, one that she had overlooked before. With a surge of excitement, Miranda began to work on deciphering the new pattern. And then, just like that, the message was cracked.

“Bronx, you need to wake up. Right now. Open your eyes and look at me. I’m not asking. I’m commanding you.” A sharp voice penetrates through the mindlink, abruptly breaking the connection.
