Mind Reading Novels & Stories

"I've done nothing wrong. I agree to call off the engagement." Mark froze, completely taken aback. Then, a robotic voice echoed in my head, ‘The Thought Sharing feature has now been activated. Please choose who you want to share it with.’ Thought Sharing? The person I picked could hear Alice's thoughts, too? I looked at Mark, still in shock, and calmly touched my face. ‘I choose Mark.’ Right then, Alice's inner voice rang out again, just in time. 'Can you believe it? With just a little trick, Helen has given up on Mark all by herself?'

Clear-headed even, so what’s the sudden confusion for? “It might be because, despite your reaction, you really are a bit shaken by what’s happened.” Sebastien’s form coming out from the side of the door and into the room doesn’t surprise me as much as it should. Neither does his ability to pick my thoughts. It seems everybody around here is a mind reader these days. “One day, I'm going to give a response to whoever reads my mind, and I'm going to give that person a very bad headache. Maybe when one of you gets hospitalized, the others might learn.”

Or did I do something wrong? His eyes fixed on the mark of the wolf on my neck which he left on me during our mating, peeking out from the collar of my shirt, as a wide smile found his lips. A proud one. “We have developed what we call a mindlink. Which means, I can hear your thoughts.” What the actual fuck? Does this mean he knew everything that was going on in my mind? No way! I should probably stop thinking. Stop thinking Mia!

“I…you can…what?” I said, still trying to wrap my mind around what Andrew had told me. “I can read minds,” Andrew repeated. “That’s how I knew that you were telling the truth when you told me that you took the fall for Bob. I looked deep into your mind and found that you weren’t lying.” My hands started to shake. Andrew held them more strongly. “So…you can look into my mind…whenever you want to?” I asked, my voice getting pitchy by the end of the sentence. “Yes, but I promise, I do not abuse the privilege.” Andrew gazed into my eyes. I couldn’t get myself to look away. “I learned from a young age that this ability is a double-edged sword and should not be relied upon, especially when it come

Brown. My first two months here were a struggle. Having the ability to read people's minds was not always a gift, it's rather a curse. I remember one instance while I was waiting for Martin just outside the school premises. I saw a man standing across from me. An ordinary person would never suspect that he was up to something evil. But his thoughts were clear to me. I can read minds. The man was waiting for his supposed victim. A woman crossed the pedestrian lane, going in the direction of the man. I knew she was in great danger but I cannot shout and tell her that she's about to get killed by that man. Besides, I didn't know if she would believe me, he was her husband after all. A day after

This is similar to that ‘would you rather’ game question of being with someone who loves you but you don’t love them back or someone you love and they don’t love you back. Still, I felt bad for him. “You don’t have to be sorry. It’s not your fault,” He knew what I was thinking. “How did you know?” “Mates can read each other’s minds,” he smirked. Say what? “We can communicate through mind-link,” “So you know what I’m thinking?” I asked slightly embarrassed. “As a matter of fact I know you think of me all the time,” he said smugly. “That’s not true!” I defended myself. Fuck he knows. “Why would I think of you?” I scoffed, breaking my eyes away from his.

“That sizzling sensation you feel scorching through your body, it’s the bond between us that you are feeling.” “Get out of my head!” I rolled my eyes at him, annoyed with the fact that he could read my thoughts at any moment. “Don’t you think it’s rude to pop into people’s heads like that?” “No.” He shrugged as though he didn’t care at all about having manners. “It’s actually quite fun. You see, everyone has thoughts in the back of their mind that even they push so far back there that they forget they exist. Secrets, regrets, desires. It’s like a maze to make my way into there, but the challenge is intriguing, and I enjoy finding what people like to hide from even themselves.”

Landon wasn’t going to get any pleasure in it. “Aww don’t be like that. I’m sorry. Let me explain then. I’m a mind reader. It was a gift that I was born with. It really does come in handy, but right now it’s driving me crazy. I’m not used to hearing someone’s mind twenty-for seven.” He was probably talking about Landon. He never slept so obviously he always had something in mind. “Yes, I am. It can be very annoying because he does it on purpose.” Landon came into view and chuckled a little.

Brooklyn- “To open a mind link with the entire pack, you will need to say what you want to say in your mind and then projected it by mentally grabbing onto the tether that links us all. It isn’t a simple task since some will have blocks up to keep certain people from contacting them. So you will also need to push through the blocks. As far as individual it is similar, except you have to hone in on specific member you want to communicate with.” Eric started to explain, in between bites of his third helping.

1st wondered. While he could read Mane’s thoughts, the boy’s mind was a whirlwind. Several thoughts were cooked in that large pot he called mind, and even those that spattered out were tiring enough to follow. He couldn’t read everything. Even with the mind of a god, he could not analyse it all.
