Mind Reading Novels & Stories

But that was for another time. “How did you know about Bach’s ability?” “I’ve encountered mind readers before and I detest them.” I halted in my tracks, “Wait, they’re real?” “Yes, they all got their powers from dark sources but his is on another level. I don’t even think he fully realizes it yet. Mind readers cannot physically handle using their powers for such a long amount of time and in such a crowded place. Most of the time they turn it off and use it when needed. They could die from doing something as stupid as that. The kid’s on a different level. I may be wrong but he should try telekinesis or at least the variants of it and see if he could acquire such powers.”

I didn’t know what the protocol was for this sort of thing. “Only if you want to. Your mind will go to it on its own.” He lay back and cuddled me in his arms. His head was on the pillow, and he closed his eyes. He was quiet and I decided to test him. What number am I thinking? One thousand eight hundred and four. He opened one eye and looked down at me. “You’re mind linking. One thousand eight hundred and four.” “Am not!” I laughed. Was I really?

Everybody then turned to look at me as Chad made his way back to his desk and put his arm back around me. I then heard his voice in my head 'Now they don't need to wonder who I am to you. they all know' I looked at him confused 'It's called mind linking, just think about me and think your thoughts to me. I focused on his face and pushed the words out as he said 'Can you hear me?' He smiled at me 'quick learner'

“It’s a secret.” “Because Alpha Tristan would get mad?” I ask, rolling my eyes. He inhales so deeply, I feel myself being sucked toward him. “How did you know I was working with Alpha Tristan?” “I’m a mind reader,” I tell him. “No, you’re not. If you were, you would be able to tell me the secret about Luna Barbara!” He’s got me there. “Fine, well, I can only read minds that have something to do with the Alphas.”

Then, Elias stepped forward. “I’m not your enemy,” he said calmly. “None of us are.” I didn’t lower my arrow. He gave me a small nod. “You asked how I knew your name right .?” “Explain,” I said, my voice still sharp. “I have a gift which makes it possible for me to read people's minds.” I blinked. “You what?” “I don’t dig deep,” he added quickly. “It’s not like I see your memories or anything. But when someone walks close enough, their surface thoughts float up. That’s how I knew your name.”

my wolf responded. I took a deep breath, feeling the familiar stir of power within me. I had been working hard to master my ability to read minds, but it was still unpredictable. Tonight felt different. I closed my eyes and focused, reaching out with my mind. Loretta was the first person I connected with. Her thoughts flowed into mine. She was genuinely concerned for me, hoping everything would be okay. Her pure and kind soul made me smile.

She didn't remember much about her past when Daniel died on her hands and was also wondering if Randy was going to try and probe her mind. She knew probing of minds was a very difficult technique among Alphas and wasn't common. Only the most powerful Alpha could do that but it was considered illegal because the person whose mind was probed will suffer intense pain that leads to brain damage or death. A brain cannot share two consciousness much less when the brain seems to be having some memory loss. The amount of force applied to unlock those parts that had been buried dead down would lead to something bad.

I can’t let it drag out. I nodded, “Alright,” He let out a sigh of relief, then smiled, “It’s called mind-link,” He straightened his position and began to walk and I followed right beside him, “It’s a werewolf thing,” “Just a werewolf thing?” He nodded, “Mind-linking is a little different from telepathy,” “How so?” “Because you can link your mind to all the people in your pack at the same time.” “Ah~” That was interesting but doesn’t telepathy work like that too? “Is there a distance you need to cover?”

I was already by the door when I heard him speak up. "Open your mindlink." I stopped in my tracks. My hand grasped the door handle but did not turn it. "No," I replied, not looking back. "I don’t know how." "Clear your mind and think that you want to communicate with me." My heart fluttered with the thought of communicating with him through a mind link. A smile curved on my lips, but I stopped myself from turning around so as not to show him how the idea affected me. I closed my eyes and tried to focus on communicating with him, but nothing snapped into my mind.

Malachi closed his eyes and he listened to what they weren’t saying out loud. “Not guilty,” they both said in unison. Malachi smiled as he read their minds. These low life thugs always thought that they could get away with their crimes. That the special members of The Council wouldn’t be able to read their minds or find the truths from their lies. It always amazed Malachi how unguarded people were. The weaker the mind, the easier it was to enter it and hear their thoughts. The one person Malachi struggled the most to get a read on had been Kiran. He’d never been weak and he swallowed past the lump in his throat and concentrated on the Alpha and Beta in front of him.
