Within minutes we were upon what was making the cloud of smoke, and I gasped at the sight below us. Hundreds maybe even a thousand tents lined the surface of the ground surrounding the side of a mountain, but as I took a closer look, it was clear that this mountain wasn’t just any mountain, but a mine.
Gabriel descended at that moment just enough to make it visible the cart loads of material being extracted from within the mountain, but I had no clue what this material was. It looked as if it was some kind of crystal-like stone, but I wasn’t sure what this world held beneath its surface.
