After searching for him everywhere, Kayla finally found her boo. He was seated downstairs, in the smallest and cosy living area of the mansion. They hardly used that living room and only came there for some alone time. The living room had a glass window which enabled one to see the beautiful view of the backyard. Whoever was in the room could see the backyard but people in the backyard couldn't see the inside. Brian had been in there for a while and he had seen everything going on in the event.

I ran my hands through his hair screaming his name. "Yes.. yes.." I groaned as he grabbed my ass. He turned my body around and started to thrust my body from the back. He squeezed both of my breast hard and he released himself inside of me. He turned my body around and kissed my lips hard. "M.I.N.E" He smirked.

Tyler pushes the drink in front of me and I chuckle taking a small sip. "I am here to have fun, maybe if you are free" I wink, and the idiot smirks biting his bottom lip. "Of course, baby. Have I ever said no to you?" I laugh taking another sip from the drink. Every time I am out here to hunt, I take it as my last day. It's not guaranteed that I will make it out alive, especially when most of the men I hunt are constantly dangerous. I have nothing to live for anyway. "So, is he here, yet?" I get to business and he nods pointing upstairs to the VIP section.

"Mr. Snow, I have a favor to ask of you. If you agree, I can offer you a generous reward." "Oh?" He was intrigued. She hadn't mentioned this before, but now, she was asking for help. She was clearly impressed by his strength. It had to be an extraordinary matter. "Let's hear it." "I hope you can accompany me to Abyssal Deepsea." "Abyssal Deapsea?" Gideon repeated the name a few times. "Is that somewhere in Kitherglen?" "Yes." Winter nodded. Ajax interjected, "Mr. Snow, we know of it, too. Abyssal Deepsea is a treacherous marvel deep within Kitherglen—a bottomless chasm with raging seawater below. That's how it got its name.

"The rogues coming in are bringing supplies—raided caches from the southern border outposts. It won’t last through the winter, but it buys us time." I walked to the table, my fingers tracing the violet mist line on the map. "Time for what, Silas? To wait until we're so weak we can't lift our swords?" Silas finally looked at me, his amber eyes searching mine. The fatigue was there, hidden in the lines around his mouth, but his resolve was a wall of iron. "Time to find an alternative. If the South won't trade, we find what we need in the earth. There are ancient mines beneath the Abyss—veins of null-iron and star-silver that the Council forgot centuries ago."

He cleared his throat and pointed to a spot on the map away from the main fortress. "Here. The Old Mines. They were abandoned a century ago because the rock was too unstable. They run directly under the Great Tree in the Silverfang Valley. The Silverfangs think the mines are haunted. They don't guard them." "Are they haunted?" Cole asked, leaning against the wall. "By things worse than ghosts," Merek said, appearing in the corner of the room. The other Alphas flinched, but Dominic didn't blink. "The Hunger has been leaking for a long time. The mines are where the shadows are thickest. It will be a hard crawl."

The image burned in my memory, as clear now as it was then. She had looked back once, her expression defiant yet broken. I had followed the pack warriors when they chased her, my curiosity getting the better of me. I had watched from the shadows, my heart pounding with anticipation as they cornered her. When she jumped, I didn’t move to stop her. I didn’t call out. No one could survive the Silver Abyss. Its waters were pure torment, a swirling mass of molten silver and ancient, deadly magic. Avery was as good as dead the moment she made the leap. I had seen it with my own eyes.

I couldn't wait for him to respond when I jumped inside. Broken shards tore into my arm, but I didn’t care. The smoke burned my lungs, and the heat felt alive,angry and suffocating. I forced myself down a narrow corridor, kicking open doors until I found the right one. It was Locked. From the outside. “ What the hell-” I blasted it open with all my strength, the door gave in and that's when I saw her down ,on the floor her hair scattered like spilled fire and her eyes closed.

I asked casually. Ryan tilted his body to face me. “Is there anything you want to know?” “Anything?” He nodded. My brow quirked. I could think of a few things but I also did not want to pry or worse, ask him anything that would make him run away.. “Let’s take a rain check on that. I will save my question for something more important. As for the mines…” I lowered my voice to a whisper. “They have magic ore. All the different kinds all the way up to platinum.”
