Mineta's Redemption Novels & Stories

"You don't owe her anything. You've done your work. You've changed." But that was the thing about redemption—it wasn't about what you owed. It was about what you could give, even when it cost you everything. Marcus folded the invitation carefully and slipped it back into his pocket. Outside his office window, Portland was waking up to an early spring morning. He'd moved here after Maya left Boston, after the restraining order, after he'd hit what his therapist called "rock bottom" and what he called "the night I finally saw the monster in the mirror."

“That’s what you have. Three days to confess anything you’re withholding. At the end of that time, we will conduct the Redemption Rite.” “What is that?” I asked, throat tight. “It is a sacred gathering,” Jorah said. “Every fertile, proven Omega in the pack will surround you, lay hands, and offer blessings. They will beg the Moon for your restoration. If you are truly guiltless, the Moon will honor it. If not…” “If not,” Damon cut in, “it won’t matter what prayers are said.” I stood there. Straight. Silent. Staring them all down. But inside, the ache unraveled.

you deserve this. On the television, I lifted the trophy, my smile radiant. Outside the television, Vivian rotted in the mire, beyond redemption. I walked out of the venue, and Tessa draped a coat over my shoulders. "What are you thinking about?" she asked gently. I looked up at the sky and took a deep breath of free air. "I'm thinking that although this world is cruel, sometimes it is also quite fair." My name was Sebastian Whitmore. In my previous life, I had been Aaron Hutchinson, a sacrifice offered up by those closest to me.

Deep silence followed, and it was no longer calm—tension filled the place as the counting continued. It was faster now. Less steady. More desperate. A series of “yes” and “no” echoed from the room, and with every count, Robin’s grip on my hand tightened and my heart pounded harder. This was the first step… the first step in my redemption. If we could stop them this time, then so many people would be safe because of our efforts. This was going to be the turning point—the one I needed to finally let go of some of my guilt. Maybe then I could go back home without feeling the shame I had been carrying around.

His reaction when he first saw me when he came to my pack is proof enough. “Given the shit you and your pack have put me through, I don’t have to help. In fact, I would gladly watch all of you burn,” Minus the children, of course. “But I am willing to help if you accept my rejection.” “Please, Sadie. He’s your mate. You might not get a second chance,” Micah begs me. “No,” I tell him firmly, then stand up. “Even the moon goddess will understand why I can’t accept this mating. If she doesn’t give me a second chance mate, then well and good. I’ll take a chosen. It’s never that serious anyway.”

" I asked, raising a brow. I don't know why he is willing to sacrifice his life for a mere omega. I think the moon goddess paired them together to punish him for his father's sin. " Don't worry dear, when the mate bond comes, I bet you won't be able to resist. I'm not scared because I'm going to lose the kingdom, I'm scared because I don't know what Vani would become in my absence." He said, his voice barely above whisper. " What do you mean Alpha?" I asked, giving him a questioning look. " She is something no one knows about! She can kill a full pack, if she isn't controlled. She is white witch!”......

“Something you wouldn’t understand. I left because I begged for forgiveness, and even though I committed wrongs, I’ve made peace with my fate.” I laughed, the sound echoing in the dungeon. “Forgiveness? You think you deserve redemption because you ‘begged’? You’re a disgrace. You’re hiding what you are—a wolf unlike any other, and yet you talk of righteousness?” Gladys winced but held her gaze steady. “I am hiding nothing, Dante. My sins are known to the Goddess, and my penance has already begun. But you…” She leaned forward, lowering her voice. “You will die here on earth, and in hell, for what you’ve done. There will be no forgiveness for you.”

"Get others to do the work for you, but always take credit." - 48 Laws of Power -Dallas Demitri Ortega - My eyes scanned the newspaper and a sense of satisfaction washed over me. Marion was now gone, burned to the ground. I was just about to pour myself another celebratory drink when my assistant, Georgia, walked in. "Dallas, you've had enough," she said, taking the cup from my grasp. Georgia DeLuna and I met years ago when she was just starting as a lawyer. She had stumbled upon some information about my business, and instead of turning me in, she offered to help me clean up my act.

I could feel the slight shift in his presence, the quiet exhale on the other side of the wall. A tear slid down my cheek before I could stop it. I didn’t even know why I was crying. Maybe it was exhaustion, or relief, or the way that one quiet assurance broke through the walls I’d built around myself for years. For so long, I’d felt unwanted, broken. A Luna stripped of her title, a woman used and forgotten by the Goddess herself. And now… this. A mate I didn’t choose, but who was still out there, standing guard without stepping in.

If they were willing to stand aside and let innocent lives be lost just to get me out of power, then I would give them exactly what they deserved. I had my mate on my back as I pounced down to Reborn Kingdom the next day, while Terah followed behind, unable to do anything because of the spell he was under. Silver seemed a little uncomfortable, but I suppose it was because she felt guilty for betraying me. I had forgiven her, but I guess that was a good sign. The clan looked exactly how bad I expected it to be. I screeched to a halt when I got to the clearing. Everywhere looked dry and empty, even though the explosions definitely didn’t reach this point.
