I wouldn't— They could manage without me. The bookkeeping and all of it. I was done, done with this miserable life I was born into. I did not wish to run away or be a fool and think that I could. He would just hunt me down like the deer he once brought and helplessly dumped it in front of me on the floor. I wanted to run away, run away from this life and all it's misery. I did not care for anyone or anything. What I looked forward to and kept me going for the past four months was gone. Wrongfully taken away from me, I'd never forget the misery and horror. My head ached. "She is still bleeding but refuses to move. I'm getting worried Mrs. Brown."

Ok many times I did not want to keep reading but I’m so glad I did! This book is definitely not for everyone but it does bring out so many emotions….I would definitely recommend it but you have to be strong and finish it- worth it!

I defined give this book 100...️. Out of all the interesting books (and some not so interesting), this one takes the cake. A few grammatical errors, but at least you understand the actual story nonetheless. I fully recommend it for strong hearted readers. Different plot from the clichés in this app.

Blackwater Val

Blackwater Val

He grinned at this—poor Georgie and his Chicago Cubs, keeping the faith for his beloved team all these long, interminably endless years. There were bookcases in here, too, and Richard was surprised to see his own first novel, Malignant Regions, mixed in with the other texts. The book was a highly fictionalized account of his wife’s battle with leukemia, and although the critics had been kind to him, sales never really launched into the stratosphere as he’d hoped. It wasn’t the debut piece he intended, but he had felt compelled to write it at the time because of Michelle’s dire condition. Still, he did snag a two-book deal from it; now he could return to those original ideas he’d scrapped ear

A Lifesaving Mess

A Lifesaving Mess

She clearly hadn’t expected me, the person she could always manipulate so easily, to refuse being controlled this time. A flash of malice crossed her eyes before she pointed at me and exploded. “Sadie, how can you accept them? You have no shame at all! Taking handouts from people like this makes you no different from a beggar on the street!”

Christmas Misery

Christmas Misery

they replied both and leave me here in the living room all by myself. I heaved a sigh as I felt the sadness again in my heart. I was looking at the teddy bear on my lap and the face of my dead baby reflected on it. A bitter smile formed on my face and I saw how she happily smiled on me. My baby are now happy where she is right now but I'm still miserable stuck on my situation. If I had only not became stupid that time, she might still here. She will be in my arms at this moment not this teddy bear. In so much thoughts and sadness running on my mind and heart, I cried all the tears that wants to escape. I know that Mandy and Ana can hear me but I didn't mind. I cried out all my tears till it

Let's Dream Together

Let's Dream Together

"Are you thinking about your new novel? Haven't you got any idea about that yet? Mi-hi shook her head sadly. The publishing company she was working with, had given her a couple of months to finish a novel with an unique romantic condensation "What about you try a story about..... Mafia?" Dea suggested her obscurely and instantly kicked her in mind about telling her about that. What would she tell if Mi-hi wanted to know more Mi-hi looked at Dea with big, astonished eyes and suddenly slapped her on her shoulder gratefully.

When the bully falls in love

When the bully falls in love

The only connection that I had with life and my existence on earth was pain. I felt numb without the pain, felt nothingness, at least the pain made me feel like something, it made me feel a little, like other humans. Without the pain, I was totally detached from reality, totally removed from the realm where normal people lived. He took a copy of the book he had been reading and turned the back page to write something. It was a copy of Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. A modernist novel that we were currently reading. His copy wasn’t brand new, it had dog pages, had been read over and over again. With some lines underlined.

The Mafia's Songbird

The Mafia's Songbird

To survive in a world full of chaos, one must learn to embrace it. It was hard— Callie knew that awfully well. She lived in a city where guns were easier to acquire than medicine, and where violence was the answer to everything. A place that the government has forgotten about and where the police worked for infamous crime lords. To survive amid chaos was hard, and Callie was only barely able to hold her head above water. And with each passing day, she feels herself sinking further and further, deeper into the filth.

In My Lonesomeness

In My Lonesomeness

But Evelyn reacted as if she had just heard the funniest joke in the world. "I already told all of you a long time ago that I don't love him. If you insisted on forcing me to marry him, then I was going to do everything I could to humiliate and torment him. Forget being with Julian, I brought home more men than I can count during the five years I was married to Robin!" Claire froze when she heard those words, her heart in turmoil. She had always known my marriage had been an unhappy one, but she had never tried to understand just how miserable it was. She had no idea Evelyn had humiliated me like that.
