“You won’t make a mistake, I trust you.” Only I didn’t trust myself.

That night, I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. I told myself I didn’t care. I told myself this was better. But no matter how many times I repeated it, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I had made a mistake. A different kind of mistake. One I might not be able to fix.

All those ' accidental mistakes' were supposed to be subtle enough for others to miss, but ultimately, they would lead to a complete disaster. I was the only person who could fix them. At least, that was what I thought. " They are hard to miss," Nathan shrugged his arms, closing my laptop. " Like I said, it is nothing major. Mistakes like that happen when you are overworked." Nathan placed my laptop on the bed and stood up, about to leave, but then he turned around and glanced at me again. " You don't seem to be upset about those. As if you knew about them very well."

My major problem with everything that had gone wrong was the fact that a lot of people were going to try to come up and make things up when they did not even exist and I was trying to see how far I could go without losing myself in the process.
