Mistborn Ghostbloods Novels & Stories

"What you saw was not a nightmare though how I wish it to be. This is the reason why I was against it in the first place to have a Human here in the den of Non Humans. Or Vampires as you call us. Mason is human too. But he has been with us since... I don’t remember. Maybe since he was a kid himself. Serving my parents and then me. Max, Enzo. Zee and Saint are Vampires. You can see their eyes have a tinge of red. Unlike mine. Mine are deep blue. Because I am hybrid". He gently wiped the sweat on his forehead "Wha.. What is a ... Hybrid". Callum stuttered. He was more normal than before, still not fully.

The festival grounds had emptied in chaos after the scream, but I remained, staring down at the body lying unnaturally still beneath the ornate lights and decorations. Alpha Miras. A visiting alpha from Rivershade pack. His throat had been slashed with surgical precision, one clean, fatal swipe. No scent, no sound, no trace of struggle. The work of a rogue, one from the Blood Moon faction if I had to guess. They were silent, calculated. They were called ghost in the night for that. I clenched my jaw, feeling my wolf pacing inside me. ‘It’s not Elvira’ Lynx muttered, for the first time in a while.

One wrong move could be fatal. "Hey, kid. What're you doing wandering around Ghosttown? Looking for some excitement? Would you like to hand over your emerald cards, or must I take them by force?" A burly man blocked Felix's path a few hundred yards ahead. The man was in the True Blood Realm. Clearly, he felt entitled to rob people in this lawless place. He probably assumed that Felix wasn't even in the Blood Realm yet, given his young age, unless he was one of those top-tier prodigies. Hence, Felix seemed like an easy target.

I grabbed the hem of Felix's shirt, fixed a pitiful expression on my face, and mumbled, "I believe you, Felix." Felix's expression softened as he helped me back to my feet. Taking advantage of the fact that the other wolves' attention was still on us, I retrieved a document from my bag and handed it to Felix. "I accidentally recorded your pup's blood type as AB when I registered his information last time. The truth is, his blood type is O." Felix's face twisted as he snatched the document from me. An eerie silence descended upon the hall. Everyone knew that all the wolves of the Blackrock pack had type-AB blood, making it impossible for a pup with type-O blood to exist in the pack.

Marcus, the quiet guy from accounting leaned against the door, arms crossed, with a bitter smirk twisting his lips. “McAllen,” he said. “You’ve been looking real happy lately. I see you enjoy your late night with the boss.” My stomach dropped. “What the hell are you talking about?” He stepped closer, I could see the jealousy in his eyes. “ I saw you leaving the private elevator. Looking like a man whose ass has taken some cock. You’re not the first, you know. The Ghost destroys anyone who tries to get close. You’re just the latest toy.” “The Ghost?” I laughed it off, but my voice sounded shaky even to me. “Sounds like some movie legend bullshit.”

He moved like a shadow—fluid, lethal, unrelenting. Juliette ran for Mason, shielding him as debris rained down. Ghost vanished into the smoke. “Damon!” she shouted. “I see him!” Damon growled. “He’s heading for the water!” Juliette gripped Mason, tears streaking her face as she pulled him into her arms. “You’re safe now,” she whispered. “You’re safe.” --------------------------------------------------------------- Outside, Ghost disappeared into a black speedboat, already racing into the mist. Damon fired. Missed.

Kael's pov I close my eyes as Ghost pushes against my skull hard enough to split the bone. The pressure rolls through me in waves, each one darker than the last. Images slam into my mind one after another. Torn limbs……Crushed bodies…….Blood sprayed across the floor. Ghost shows me all of it, a promise of what he plans to do. “I will bathe in that wolf’s blood whether you like it or not”, he snarls. My teeth grind. “Then you’ll condemn us both to death.”

“I can feel it. It’s calling me. The Moon wants me to finish what my bloodline began.” “What does that mean?” She met his gaze, fear flickering beneath the defiance. “It means it wants me to merge with it. To become the vessel it’s been waiting for.” Zevran’s hand tightened on his sword. “Then it’s not getting you.” A faint, bitter smile touched her lips. “You can’t fight the Moon, Zevran.” “Watch me.” Before she could answer, the ground shuddered. The air split with a sound like cracking glass. From the center of the courtyard, a pillar of crimson light burst upward, and the shadow within it began to take form — massive, skeletal, wearing a thousand faces of despair.

I smacked my head on the floor so hard that my forehead started bleeding like crazy. Just then, a sleek black Maybach rolled up to the hotel's front door and out stepped a guy with an aura that practically screamed domineering. "Who's the jerk who hurt my mom?" Calvin practically tripped over himself to get to Hudson. He was all smiles, reading to suck up to Hudson.

her eyes brimmed with tears, tears that she trying not to fall whatever it takes. “That Bloody Night were they first show up with full force,” she added as her eyes turned blank as she try very best to not to cry or even crack her voice. “As if maddened, they move so fast and deadly! To the point of draining everyone... Everyone that have the blood of the Brightest Moon and the...Almighty Sun, have drained their blood to flood the land with redness!”
