Novel & Cerita Mistletoe Stories

Where we were right now, several druids were harvesting mistletoe from the oak trees. "We need to go to a hidden grove somewhere to check if my device can activate the stone. It's the sixth day of the lunar cycle today. It is considered sacred to harvest and burn mistletoe; the smoke can be used to summon supernatural and cosmic forces. It's a big day every month and it will be difficult to open portals without drawing attention here." I wondered if the time bender sorceress could be summoned with this sacred smoke he was talking about.

Just a house full of smoke and laughter. Amethyst remembers crying on Citra’s lap after a boy broke her heart in fifth grade. Citra had offered to turn him into a newt. Nora—soft and shaking—tells how Citra helped her through her miscarriage. How she showed up with soup, silence, and a fierce kind of love. Each story is a seed. And each seed is scattered. By the end, the mound is covered in wildflowers. And we are all crying. Hawk closes the circle.

I walked to the fireplace and took some heat from there, I m a wolf too I don't feel very chilly but just the warmth kept me there, Alpha Sioux joined me and said "Thank you for staying, what do you want to ask me, you have already answered my three questions and you are eligible for a question plus one from yesterday's question." Coincidentally, I glanced up and found mistletoe above our heads. When I asked him to look up, he glanced at it and stopped. When he understood that I was talking about mistletoe, he looked everywhere and found that nobody was there and gently kissed me, smiling. It was a relief and a smile appeared on his face. His emotions tell me everything. He said "One more do

Trusting Atlas felt natural now in a way I couldn’t fully explain, but trusting all of this… trusting what it might mean if I was right… that was different. So I stayed quiet and listened. “What are you thinking about?” Calyx’s voice pulled me back immediately. I blinked and looked up to find all four of them watching me. Atlas’s hand tightened slightly against my waist. “I was just thinking about some stories my mother used to tell me,” I admitted carefully. Zeke leaned back slightly in his chair. “What kind of stories?” “Mostly old myths,” I said. “Ancient creatures. Warnings. Things that supposedly hunted supernatural bloodlines.”

The air in the library was thick with the scent of old books and the faint hum of fluorescent lights. Sadile Marconi, her fiery red hair cascading over her shoulders like a river of flames, sat at a secluded table, her green eyes darting between the pages of her textbook and the clock on the wall. The numbers seemed to mock her, ticking away the minutes until her next class, a class she was dangerously close to failing.

And how Sierra couldn’t just think out of the box to get something done. Malachi was low key making progress but Sierra was just a little jealous she couldn’t come up with anything other than insults. “I can’t write what I don’t feel” she mumbled to herself…sounding soft like she was trying to hide something or convince herself she was saying the truth. “What did you say?” Malachi asked. “Uhm nothing” Sierra replied…trying to hide the fact that she was flopping her whole writing. “What do you mean by that?” he asked…tilting his head upward a bit.

I turned to Kai, who bowed at me. "Deal with him. He's making too much noise." I walked away from them and took Elowen to my room and laid her on my bed. She was burning up, and I turned to call the doctor immediately, hoping it wasn't having a worse effect from the poison. Mistletoe was dangerous in general for wolves, but it kills rogues faster, so the fact that she survived that means that she's not a rogue. "Daddy!" I heard Valencia's voice, and I groaned inwardly. Not now, please.

A third whispered, “Oh no.” I walked closer, staring at the strange plant suspiciously. “Why are wolves placing toxic foliage above entrances? Should I be concerned.” Lucian appeared at my side like he had been summoned by my confusion. “That is mistletoe.” “I gathered that,” I said dryly. “Why is it here?” He opened his mouth, closed it, opened it again. “Well… it is part of a holiday tradition.” I narrowed my eyes. “Explain.” Before he could, Marek stepped into the hallway carrying a stack of wooden beams over one shoulder as if gravity was a polite suggestion. His hair was rumpled, his shirt sleeves pushed up, and there was a streak of flour on his jaw that made absolutely no sense.

There was one solitary, big book on a low table between them. "The title of the tale is The Binding of Autumn," he began, his voice an entrancing whisper just in harmony with the shriek of the fire. “It's the tale of a harvest god who offers a mortal woman a choice: one night of absolute freedom for one year of unimaginable riches for her people." He didn't move as his eyes met hers. "The consent is the matter at hand. It must be freely bestowed, not coerced, and whispered three times into the skin of his throat." “Do you have any idea what sort of story you're going to be reading me tonight?”

The air held a certain calmness, a temporary respite from the revelations that awaited. As they picked berries, the mother began to share more of her story. She spoke of the ancient pact between her kind and the mountain pack—a pact that dictated the delicate balance between the mystical and the mundane. Morekish listened attentively, absorbing the details of his mother's past. He learned of the complexities of their existence, the challenges faced by those with the "rainbow eyes," and the sacrifices made to protect both the human and mystical worlds. As the sun climbed higher in the sky, casting dappled shadows through the leaves, Morekish's understanding deepened. The forest, once a famili
