My eyes widened as he said those words. Mist started to cover the borderline. Making everyone freeze in their spots. They stare at the mist. Mia’s heart started to beat so loudly, even Roman could hear it. Roman kept his pose. Humming sounds came from the mist. Then three women emerged from the mist. Only one walked towards them at a slow pace. Asher grabbed Mia’s chains and made her stand up and dragged her toward the woman. Meeting halfway, they stopped. Asher waits for the Lothian to speak first.

"Yes, we are fine, actually, but I still need to go." There was pin-drop silence, and Alex started questing. "I thought we were ok, Ashly; why do you want to go? Look, I am sorry, Ashly, but please don't leave me. I can't live without you." Alex was about to cry when Ashly got up and hugged him. Alex hides his face in Ashly's neck. Ashly really smells different. But Alex thought it was because she was mated with him now. "No, stupid, it's nothing like that," Ashly said, wiping Alex's tears.

Misty chuckled lightly, speaking softly, "They don't cherish us, but we can cherish each other. Robert, I like you." She took off her mask and tiptoed, gently leaving a kiss on the corner of his lips. "You like me too, right?" Robert didn't reply. Instead, he tightened his grip on her waist, lifting her chin and deepening the kiss. After the lingering kiss, Misty's eyes sparkled. Her red lips were slightly swollen as she leaned against his chest. "Misty, I'm not dreaming, am I?" Holding her close, Robert repeatedly planted light kisses on her forehead. "You agreed to be with me, right?"

“No, good stuff. Powerful family, strong, good, beautiful. Some of the pack members would talk about wishing we were part of Blood Moon.” Misty smiled. “I’m really glad to hear that.” Thea heard Alessia’s heart rate increase. She sensed the butterflies in Alessia’s stomach. Alessia was attracted to Misty. Thea knew Alessia was still growing into her potential, but she just might be the kind of woman Misty would go for. Strong, kind. She was becoming more and more beautiful as she grew in confidence. Her red hair looked good next to Misty’s blonde mane.

For all his training as a Recon Marine and powers of a an Awakaned, Strike Force soldiers were on an entirely different level of deadly skill. “Everything okay?” Alexei said. “Yeah,” Kyle replied shortly. “I'm fine. Get on the jet.” Xander shot Knight a narrow-eyed look before promptly hooking a hand around Kira’s elbow and hauling her into the jet, the both of them talking in rapid Italian all the while. Knight felt irrationally jealous at the way Kira easily leaned into her partner’s space before sternly telling himself he didn’t have that right. He and Kira weren’t together. They were never been together.

Then Anise looked back at Miranda, and the special girl nodded her head. Standing off the bed, Miranda walked up to Asher. She stood face to face with him, and his dark pupils watched her face intently. She lifted her hand and touched the opposite cheek from where Anise's hand rested. Asher closed his eyelids and shuddered, the sparks of the mate bond coming alive between their connection. It felt more powerful this time. More concrete. Asher covered Miranda's hand with his large palm, then he brought it to his lips and kissed the center of her palm, while she watched his face with the same intensity which burned in her gaze.

Ecstasy from the sparks moving through my body broke free a desire that I didn’t know I had for her. She pulled away, looking surprised. “Are you okay?” I questioned breathlessly. She only nodded slowly. “We can stop. I don’t want to overwhelm you.” She reached out, running her thumb along my lower lip. I let my tongue move forward just enough for contact and the pupils of her eyes dilated. “What if I don’t want to stop?” she whispered. Ash pushed forward, “Then don’t,” he said in unison with me.

“And what if you don’t like what you see?” “Ashen,” I said firmly, “there is no version of you I would ever turn away from.” Hamish cleared his throat. “The bond is strengthening.” Ashen blinked, startled. “Already?” “Yes,” Hamish said. “Continue.” Ashen leaned closer unconsciously until his forehead almost touched mine. His breath was warm, shaky, carrying the scent of fear and hope both. “Grayson…” he whispered. “Tell me something you’ve never told anyone.” I blinked. “Why?”

I understood his gimmick and it was nice making her look like the fool that she is. “And who do we have here?” Xavier let out and I looked up and saw Asher standing there. He had his hand in his pockets like he was in control but I could see through his eyes, he was so terrified. “Well, it’s me, Asher, and I can see we exchanged partners.” He teased. “That was such a stupid comparison.” I chimed in. “Oh no, babe, don’t stress yourself please. I think he doesn’t seem to understand what is going on here.” Xavier let out and then locked eyes with Asher who seemed a bit confused. I was also confused too as I didn’t understand what he meant.

and a particularly large Lycan “asher” She looked around. "They are close friends. I’ll introduce the others after the meeting" she finished. Ruke stood up and faced the many lycans present. He wasted no time in telling them he had found his mate, after which he beckoned Lang Lang to speak to them about the prophecy. When she had finished, a very blonde Lycan with a mole on his nose spoke up, ”what have we got to do with the prophecy,“ he asked, witha bored look on his face.
