Chapter 2 ** The McClaren brothers ** Peter McLaren, the god of his ladies and the nightmare of more than one! Peter was one of his men you'd hear about all over Montreal, there were lots of stories being told about him and not very nice things. He was the Prince of Montreal. Peter and his twin brother Paul were two Mafiosi, they alone had a whole team of men as violent as each other, they had reached a very high stage of their "career" because they even work with the bosses of 'states.

He bellowed. MJ rolled her eyes, so much for saving his life, Aaron stepped forward and stood between them, but not before slipping the drug in his pocket. “Javier, I don’t think you have met before.” MJ smirked, resisting a smile. “This is MJ Billings; Ms Billings, Javier Mendoza,” he introduced them. Javier Mendoza staggered a bit, if it were not for the walking stick in his hand, he would have probably fallen.

My dad asked in a teasing voice. I groaned internally. He was using “THAT” voice. “Dad, Peter is someone I met today. I just told you about him. He helped me out with Patty…” Piper interrupted with a scoff. “Someone? Peter Melton isn't someone. He's the number one elite, he's the richest guy in Delengade.” Piper said excitedly. Dad looked surprised. “Is he back in the country then? I thought he was abroad. Dave said so the last time we talked.”

“I’m Justin Mitchell. You may call me ‘Justin’. Who might you be, young sir?” Peter shook Mr. Mitchell’s hand, replying as politely as he could around the hard candy in his cheek, “I’m Peter, and this is my sister, Sarah.” “Delightful to meet you both. Your father speaks very highly of Miss Moore. I’m certain you’re in excellent hands.” Getting to his feet, Mr. Mitchell bent at the waist, brushing the knees of his slacks, then straightening. “Miss Henderson,” he said the faintest bit too warmly, “when you’re finished with your conversation, bring a notepad into my office please.”

But because he had lost face because of her scandal, he came to trouble them. “That is not all.” After Thomas said that, he handed Richard the tablet in his hand. Richard looked at the trending video with a grave expression. He passed the tablet to Amanda so that they can watch together. Peter's face came into view the moment Amanda clicked on the video. She was glad that she could be herself for a while, even if it meant spending time with her high school ‘frenemy’, The Gay Boy, Jameson Petersen.

Peter interjected, “Could you guys all tone down the PDA a little? Please think about us single folks. You all have partners, but I’m still unattached.” Trenton laughed and said, “Peter, I’m single too. We’re in the same boat.” “You’re still just a young lad. I’m already in my late twenties,” Peter said. He was about ten years older than Trenton and only a little older than Austin, who would turn twenty-seven soon. “Peter, when are you going to bring your partner here for us to meet?” Serenity teased. His smile became gentler as he replied, “When the time’s right, I’ll bring her back to meet everyone. It’s just not the right time yet.”

Peter nodded, smiling. “But I love you more than I love mommy.” Peter said quietly. Mike and I looked again, and Mike was getting angry again. I tightened my grip harder on Mike's leg, trying to calm him down again. “I love you too but-“I started explaining but Mike interrupted me. “Peter, Jessica is my girlfriend you know? She isn't your mommy but I love her. She can't be your mom, but she can love you like one. You have to understand that mommy and daddy aren't together anymore and we won't be ever again ok?” Mike said calmly. I kept looking into him, repeating his words in my mind.

He said but quickly looked at Aiden. "Why do you guys look at me like I've grown two horns." Aiden said getting irritated by having all eyes on him. "Because you are cute Aiden." Kol said. Aiden got shy after listening to this.

Peter laughed. "Does Peter know about your new friend?" Damian asked his friend. Peter lifted his head to look at Juliette. "What friend?" He asked. "Long story, but I met a rapper, and I kind of introduced him to Kyle," Juliette said. Peter rubbed his chin. "A rapper? I won't be the only one then!" He smiled. They spent their time eating and chatting about useless but funny things, Juliette was happy to have Damian and Peter as friends, she knew that she will never be sad as long as she has them by her side.
