Kissing Danger
I'm frozen, watching him warily as he reaches out and grasps my forearm, the pressure of his eye contract not ceasing.
"Feel that. It's our bond," he murmurs softly. There is no denying it, the sparks that flutter across my skin. The feeling is like nothing else, so euphoric. It's not meant to be denied, or to be run from for so long. It's meant to be simpler than who is bound by it.
He goes to pull away, but I grab his wrist. "Wait, don't stop."
He pauses, examining me for a long moment before he leans forward, grasping either side of my face with his hands, drawing me in to kiss him. And I let him, enjoying the tenderness of his touch, with how gentle he can be.
