The mansion is eerily quiet, the air thick with tension, but we’re not about to back down now. When the party ended, it was nearly midnight. Everyone was in a delightful mood, having a great time. It was half an hour's drive to reach the house. They decided to have midnight snacks at one of the famous restaurants in the area. They ordered pad thai, chai latte, cafe mocha and empanadas.

I called Midnight's phone and after 10 secs he picked up. **Call** Me: Hey Night I have arrived at your house. I'm outside the door but still inside my car. Help me bring the stuff inside. Midnight: All right, I'll be down there soon. Wait for me Me: Okay hurry up, I'm dying to sleep T^T Midnight: Okay okay got it. After that, he hung up and I waited for him. After 30 secs the door finally opened and I was greeted by Midnight who was obviously still sleepy. He went towards and I opened the trunk of my car for him to get the bags.

The city glow hit the planes of his jaw, making him look like he’d been carved out of the night itself. “Call me Midnight,” he said. His voice was low, carrying a weight that made her skin prickle. “And I know exactly who you are, Lila. I know you touch yourself every night. I know you lie here imagining a stranger who comes in and tells you what to do. I know what you crave when nobody is looking.” He leaned against the wall, his gaze dropping from her face to the glistening toy still inside her. His eyes didn’t waver. There was no shame in his look, only a terrifyingly calm observation.

I look towards Lily and she nods her head at me, “yes, let’s go.” The four of us made our way to my office in silence, nobody said a word. As my office door closed Jason blurted out, "Midnight killed Hades and is the rightful ruler of the underworld!” “What?” I say, unsure of what I just heard. “It’s- it’s true,” Midnight says quietly, “I held the sword of Demoirta in my hands… and I killed him with it.” I hear Lily gasps slightly before she pulls Midnight into her arms.

“We're going to split. Collect as much information.” Jordan looked around the busy streets, “Midnight. We will meet there.” He pointed at one tavern with a post that was written ‘Open till dawn’ Having said that, they all parted ways. Each to a different direction. When the clock struck midnight, Jordan arrived at the tavern first. Shortly Malachi arrived. Making himself comfortable at the table, he smiled at the waiter, “I'll have whatever strongest liquor you have.” “I'd be careful. Dragon liquor is not for the other races.” The middle aged waiter advised but poured some anyway.
