His Shattered Luna

His Shattered Luna

The same way morning sunlight streamed in through the trees, all broken and golden and almost pretty enough to hide the sharp edges underneath. Almost. “Where is he?” I asked. Marcus said, “At the packhouse. He moved back in once things got bad enough for the medics to need him close.” A pause. “He stopped shifting six weeks ago. His wolf can’t keep up with it anymore.” Those words landed heavy. I knew what it meant up close—bond deterioration so advanced that the wolf side starts slipping away. First shifting hurts. Then it’s nearly impossible. Then it’s gone entirely. There’s nothing fair about it.

The New Sun

The New Sun

SA-2614 is a genetically modified weapon of war. A soldier—a super soldier— whose sole purpose in life is carrying out orders and achieving the objective. Anyone who stands in her way is just another casualty in her unending war with whoever her superiors deem as enemies of the colony. And one such casualty lies prone in front of her, writhing in pain and shock of the 15000 volts delivered from her shock stick. He was a civilian, just a civilian. But she would do whatever it takes to achieve the mission. Even if she needs to take out a citizen of the colony.

Shady Blue

Shady Blue

And, offering him a smile, found comfort in the fact she depended on another being rather than recoiling from it. Clouds parting just enough for the moon to pour over the honeycombed ocean whose waves seemed to turn endlessly without ever breaking, it was enough. Eating cheap takeout in the car Blue had long since decided too small to fuck in let alone commute a child was enough. She enjoyed the simplicity all the same as she would a public sit-down meal. She stared awestruck at the half-hidden ocean just as she would some fiery pink sky—feared she’d never be able to fathom the peace in watching seafoam mount the stunted shoreline. Despite the fact she had to squint to see it. And as rain ca

Yellow Sun Academy

Yellow Sun Academy

One of the employees, a man with a paper hat and an apron, smiles at us. "That's new," I say, pointing at what I think is a milkshake machine. We watch as the employee pulls a lever, and bright-pink ice cream quickly pours out. Before filling the glass cup, the employee stops. He then adds whipped cream, red stars, and two straws. Finally, we stare at a three-layer cake. On the middle layer, there is a little hover traincraft, going around in circles. Looking at the traincraft, Shocker reaches down and pulls out his holo-display. While Shocker types a message, I sneak a glance at him. Seeing him smile, I feel something beating in my chest. When he's done, Shocker flips his holo-display over

Moonlit Shadows

Moonlit Shadows

The weight of our previous victory mingled with the weight of the unknown, intertwining in a tangled web of anticipation and dread. "We cannot underestimate the Nightshade's power," Selene cautioned, her voice tinged with a mix of concern and determination. "Its malevolence runs deep, and it thrives on fear and despair." Malachi nodded, his gaze steely. "We must rally the people of Silverwood, bolster their spirits, and remind them of the strength that lies within their hearts. We need unity now more than ever." As if in response, the townsfolk began to gather, their faces etched with worry but also a glimmer of hope. The whispers subsided, replaced by an air of resolve as we stepped forward

Burning Desire: His Chosen Wolf

Burning Desire: His Chosen Wolf

I smiled at them and tipped them an imaginary hat and they cheered for me. I cruised to a halt and jumped down from the car before grabbing my backpack and retrieving the Moon Phoenix. It glowed through the foil and I turned to look at the sunset, taking how beautiful it was against the skies. It was the reason for this glow. I unwrapped the Moon Phoenix and lifted it into the skies, towards the direction of the sunset and it let out a glow this time, it took the color of the sunset. Fiery orange, yellow, an almost red tinge, pink and purple. It let out its light, casting an ethereal glow around me.

SOLD TO THE VOID ALPHA: THE REJECTED HEIRESS

SOLD TO THE VOID ALPHA: THE REJECTED HEIRESS

Kemi’s voice was the first thing that broke through the static. I blinked against a sudden, blinding spike of gold. It wasn't the artificial blue light of a cartel quarantine field or the violent violet of a data-surge. It was the sun—a real, unfiltered sunrise breaking over the Lagos-Aethelgard harbor, painting the oil-slick waters in brilliant shades of amber, copper, and rose.

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

Yet she does, and it’s the most beautiful, terrifying thing I’ve ever seen. I watch her, catching a familiar gesture I’ve seen a hundred times before, one that never fails to undo me. She tilts her face toward the sunlight streaming through the window, her eyes closed, a faint smile softening her lips as the light spills over her skin. She looks peaceful like this, untouched by the chaos around her. But then I see it. The shimmer. It moves across her skin like a quiet pulse that seems to answer to the sunlight instead of simply reflecting it. It’s not just warmth she’s taking in; it’s as if she’s absorbing the light itself, threads of gold sinking into her skin like it belongs there.

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

Godfather World

Godfather World

He did not need Mandy’s Melody to help him get the blue spores. Making his way back to the lake, Zen realised that Mandy’s Melody was more useful than he had thought. Hernie’s mushroom mask helped to filter harmful air substances, but it did not make Zen immune to other debuff effects if he was attacked. Without the shrine maiden’s special buff spell, Zen would never have hunted those vampire mushrooms so easily. “If I die hunting these regular Pixie Prank Parasols, I’ll go back to get Mandy’s Melody,” Zen promised himself.

BLUE MOON

BLUE MOON

I pull my hair in a ponytail and apply a light nude lip shade. " No . Absolutely not . No. That's not gonna work." Mia says. " Why? It looks good ." I reply. " Yeah , if you are going to the church ." She says mockingly. " Fine. Have at it." I say and open my hair after removing my lipstick. She squeals and starts working on my hair. She styles my hair open and and puts red lipstick on my lips with a smokey eyeshadow . " Now , It looks like we are going to party." Mia says and pulls me up from the chair and we both giggle as we go down the hallways. We call an uber and slip inside . I listen as Mia talks to the driver in italian.
