“What kind of monster?” The First King looked toward the earth beneath their feet. “The kind that frightened gods.” Silence. The roar came again. This time a reply echoed from the fracture. The Sleepless One. It sounded afraid. No. Terrified. The realization chilled everyone. Kael looked horrified. “Whatever is down there scares that thing?” The First King nodded once. Silence. “It was never meant to wake again.” The cracks in the ground suddenly glowed. Silver-violet. The same color as Elara’s magic.

Dean banged his spear against the floor and managed to close the portal. "My friend!" Yama chuckled, his voice loud enough to down the sound of buzzing. I gawked at him as he was in one of his crazy suits which were too blinding for my eyes. He was the only demon who inherited the throne without having to fight for it. The longest-running Demon King. Most of them admired him for that quality and feared him at the same time. Then again he looked like the kind of person who cannot even hurt a fly. With his tall slender body, gangly arms and brown chocolate eyes he looked like the boy next door.

Angry at the way he was looking at me, I ordered him to kneel. Taking him by surprise, he kneels, his head bowed. “Why didn’t you inform me you were coming?” I hissed as my fangs elongated. “S-Sorry,” he stuttered. “I hate uninvited guests. If you came for something urgent, you better start spitting it out,” I said, taking a seat. The King of the Montes Clan was an ally. He knows I don’t like uninvited guests. I can smell his fear in the air.

Frank never liked guessing games, and he showed Drea and Faust his ring. "Almost all my powers come from this—something that people call the spiritron vein." "Spiritron vein?" Drea and Faust traded glances. "That reminds me… Monkey was born in one of those things, which was why he could wreak havoc in the Celestial Palace after just a few years of training. And with the way you used it, you're going to surpass him?" Frank laughed at their words. "You're kidding—I'm really nothing compared to Monkey. And this spiritron vein is a lot less impressive than what they describe in folktales. In fact, even the average Joe could bend it to their will with the use of science."

The creature was shaped like a monkey, but had claws with very long nails. "What are you here for?" he asked. The monkey can talk, of course. Leon recalls creating characters that were inspired by mythology in Asia. A god in the form of a monkey. Of course, Leon didn't create this monkey to be that particular god exactly, but rather similar. Leon shuffled away then stood up.

"This creature I will summon is much weaker than the dark Phoenix, but it doesn't mean it's not strong. The legendary ape, Sun Wukong, come forth!" The ugly monkey less than four feet tall appeared behind King Arthur, wearing a Phoenix feather cap, golden chainmail armor, lotus root-colored boots, golden fillet, silk shirt, tiger skin kilt, and leather boots. He is holding his ruyi jingu bang wood weapon on his left arm. "Please do your best to beat that creature, otherwise I will lose my confidence in all of you!" said Prince Arthur. He jumped behind the altar to watch his zodiac warriors fight with the legendary ape.

Next, Caspian dug out the demon core from the monster's brain and placed the entire corpse in his storage bag. Maya glanced around and said, "This monster with the body of a goat and the face of a monkey is a Broken-Tooth Ape. However, the Broken-Tooth Ape never acts alone, and there'll at least be a dozen of them. Thus, there must be other Broken-Tooth Apes around, so be extra alert!"

I ask, my eyes finding who said that. "I am the inkpot monkey, beholder of secrets." I turned to my papyrus and then comes closer. The small monkey pops out from the papyrus, making a hole in it. I grunted when the papyrus was damaged. The monkey crawls out the paper and then watches me scrunch the paper. In my hands, I made a swing from my back and then made twirled my arms. I threw it into a trash can ten meters away. It bumped into the can's wall and drops inside the can.
