He's my Professor

He's my Professor

Grace Velaniasientate en mi cara
I’m always late for the news. Sighing, I take a seat on the couch as I waited for the weather update. Minutes passed before the meteorologist appeared in the TV screen. He reported that there is no tropical storm yet. The heavy rain was brought by a broad monsoon depression present along the Philippine Sea, with two vortices, one is at eastern Samar and the other is just few kilometers away from the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Supreme Emperor of Swords

Supreme Emperor of Swords

Luan Shi Kuang Dao,humble swordsman
Such a commotion actually covered the rumbling of thunder within the boundary formation. Everyone was astounded once more. The shock waves from the collision between the Pig Immortal and the Great Ape King earlier had already caused them to have lingering fear in their hearts, and now there was an enormous rumbling that seemed like a tide. However, its impetus was even greater than the momentum of the collision from before. The sound was approaching quickly. It was the sound of a tsunami. Looking around, a tsunami that was 3km tall rose up into the sky, and it seemed as if it wasn't controlled by any external force and surged over by itself.

Sold to the Disfigured Billionaire

Sold to the Disfigured Billionaire

His cold, slate-grey eyes were locked onto the violently surging ocean below. "It’s coming," Harper’s voice trembled. Not just from the freezing wind, but from the ancient Architect memories screaming like sirens inside her mind. The psychic pressure was suffocating, like an ant staring up at a falling meteor. RUMBLE— A ten-mile radius of the ocean surface suddenly bulged upward in a grotesque, unnatural dome. A split second later, the water collapsed outward like a shattered dam, triggering a massive, hundred-foot-tall circular tsunami. A behemoth broke through the surface of the abyss. If the tentacled monstrosity they fought in Antarctica was a wolf, the entity rising before them now was

Billionaire's Pampered Wife

Billionaire's Pampered Wife

"The storm will come in two hours. The wind will be strong. Shall we go to the bamboo house from before to avoid the rain?" "Will the tide rise?" Stella asked. "The tide is caused by the pull from the sun and the moon. The storm and the waves might be big, but it won't cause the tide to rise. Judging from the situation here, it seems that the trees have never been drowned," Jasper observed.

Torn Between Her Alphas

Torn Between Her Alphas

“Where? We came from the forest, and we almost got killed, and now we’re about to be killed, too. Do you know what it is?” “Traps.” It didn’t take long, Lucius cursed. “Fuck!” Lucius began stepping back as the largest wave came our way. It was as tall as the building. “This is not right.” Bryan finally found his voice. “This is too fast. I just watched the water suck away from the beach, and it only takes less than two minutes to rush back. This not normal.” “None of these are normal, Bryan,” I told him. “Is that a tsunami?” Theia pointed at the obvious as the ocean rose more, starting to form a crest. “Shit, I don’t wanna die drowning. What should we do?”

Mortal's choice

Mortal's choice

They might be a place to start if they had more information than he. “My lord!” Another man rushed up to them and shoved a phone in his pocket. “We think we have news on Jormungand. There was a very serious tidal surge and tectonic activity. A massive one never before seen, origin puts it the Marianas Trench. The most likely place he’d move through this world and to the next or hibernate in. The entire pacific basin is on emergency alert for tsunami waves. Several islands near there have been nearly wiped out with the surge.” Surt was quiet for a moment. This wasn’t good, he was hoping ot have Fenrir in his grasp before then.

A Queen Among Tides

A Queen Among Tides

Another sirna is responsible for this, and when I find them I’ll turn them into fucking sashimi. As I feel my magic feed off my rage I begin to push the tsunami back forcing its form to return to the sea, but just as I’ve almost got it back where it belongs I feel the ocean currents begin to move from a different direction. I look, only to see the tell-tale signs of another tsunami coming from an entirely different direction. What the fuck is going on?! Before I can give it my attention a blur of pearlescent white swims up to the side of me at an exceptional speed and quickly takes the form of my mother.

Another amazing book! I feel as though each book is my favorite in this series and I love the representation. This particular author has an amazing way of challenging vernacular and using it to empower her characters. Her world building has you vested in the outcome of the story and characters.

This book is amazing so far! This entire series is so freaking good!! The author does such a great job building this expansive world and tying everything together. If you love world building/expanding books, start reading the "A Queen Among" stories, you won't be disappointed!

The Unwanted Wife and Her Secret Twins

The Unwanted Wife and Her Secret Twins

"I'm allowed to change my mind. That's one of the benefits of being a grown-up." "Being a grown-up sounds confusing." "It is." He climbed back onto his chair, watching me pull out the pancake mix. "The TV is showing scary stuff." "What kind of scary stuff?" "Like a big wave that ate a whole city. They called it a\..." He scrunched up his face, trying to remember. "A sue-mommy?" "A tsunami." "Yeah. That. What's a tsunami?" I mixed pancake batter in a bowl, the spoon making soft scraping sounds against the sides. "It's a really big wave. Bigger than any wave you've ever seen. It happens sometimes when there's an earthquake under the ocean."

Appreciation to authors writing. it is easy to visualize things while reading. I love reading this book. Mia is an inspiration except for the fact that she is using Thomas. My fav characters are Mia, Kyle, Sarah(Mia's mom), Nate, Scarlett, Katherine(Kyle's mom), Alexander, Ethan and Morton.

great story. thomas lied cause he was jealous while kyle lied cause he wanted to protect her. she clearly loves kyle even though she doesn't admit it and is only with thomas since he gives a sence of security/love to her and kids. i hope kyle and mia clear their misunderstandings and end up together

The Hidden Weapon

The tsunami was still passing behind the wall. “Rico was sealed inside Mt. Filli after the great light happened. This tsunami was caused by his unsealing. The disaster was the bad news and Rico’s freedom was the good news.” Merfoy watch the wall start to shake while Maru, who was suffering kept on pushing the wall. Merfoy released his white flame and create another invisible white wall doubling up the first one. The wall stopped shaking but the ground cracked slowly like an iced ocean ready to burst up its water.

Perer Ford: Diary of a Stranger

Perer Ford: Diary of a Stranger

Unlike Clag, he was a nerdy teen who liked to socialize. Being under the heat of the sun and waiting for the rain to fall is like holding a ladybug, the flutter of its shell-like front wings like a small tidal wave— smaller and safer than the tsunami that hit Lituya Bay, Alaska in 1958, and the swirl of crudely formed emotions that raged the faces of the people that lived close to the Bay.
