XXX In the morning, Elias threw Rihanna into the pale turquoise ocean as far as his strength could. She screamed as she flew through the air, landing an impressive distance away. Bursting up from the clear salt water, she threw back her wet hair and called back. “That’s the best you’ve got?”

Toni and Xian both turned to him, horrified. “What?” Toni gasped. Xian began to cry as Toni pulled her into a tight embrace. Something was wrong — deeply wrong. The air was shifting. The water felt heavier. Then, as if in response to their fear, a single taunting wave slammed against the hull. Bob staggered. His breath came in sharp bursts. “Okay. Okay. Fuck!” Xian looked up at him, her face soaked in saltwater and tears. “Tony!” What none of them realized was that they were now drifting within the center of a massive tidal rip — a silent predator hidden beneath the sea. Bob knew Tony was a strong swimmer, but too much time had passed.

I replied as vibrations ran along my leg and I relocated my right hand to my pocket grabbing my phone allowing her to move into the shower.
