Those who step forward and choose the monster willingly—” She leaned toward us, voice lowering. “They almost always survive.” Her eyes locked fully onto mine. “Because the change does not create the darkness,” she said. “It only gives it permission.”

"They're being hunted." Swarming around the massive, crippled Crawler were shadows. They weren't the geometric, anti-matter Null-Sentinels. These were biological. Huge, heavily mutated predators born from the chaotic explosion of the Origin-Code. They looked like wolves, but they were the size of rhinos, their fur glowing with erratic pulses of blue sub-ether energy, their jaws lined with jagged, crystalline teeth. "Origin-Beasts," I whispered, the realization chilling my blood. "When I detonated the Void-Drive, the code rewrote the environment... but it rewrote the surviving wildlife, too. We accidentally created apex predators."

A deep vibration, subtle at first, like a far-off drum. I tensed. "Move," I said. "Now." But it was too late. The ground exploded just behind us. A serpent the size of a small house burst from the mud, its scales slick and black, its mouth lined with curved, blood-stained fangs. "Anaconda!" Lotanni shrieked, stumbling back. No — not an anaconda. Not anymore. This thing was a mutation. The monster’s body writhed like it was stitched from several beasts, its head elongated, its mouth splitting wider than anything natural.

For it only looked at Mane with gratitude and with a bit of curiosity. “What an interesting fellow,” Mane was astonished by what had just occurred. He used Devour to suck out the Edict from the earth around them and transferred it to the Crystal Monkey, hoping that it would aid in its recoveries. After all, it was a Pseudo Legendary Class Magical Beast. A beast of that level was an elemental beast, so Mane reckoned that as long as it had earth elemental Edict, it would be able to recover. However even he didn’t expect it to recover that quickly, or to achieve a breakthrough! Obviously the quick recovery was as a result of the surprising breakthrough, but Mane was not expecting either.

I remain silent during this process, still not sure what to think about this situation. “Oh, this isn’t good.” Axel exclaims, checking his phone. “I have an alert, the police are looking for a fugitive with telekinetic abilities who may be able to identify a high-risk Abnormal known as a ‘Mimic’.” He looks confused and turns to Myah, “Do you know what a Mimic is?” He asks. She doesn’t show any reaction but simply states; “I can’t think of anything relating to that, CC?” Myah looks towards her sister for a further response,

The two clashed, and as Olivine lunged, the weight of his mutated form crashed against Visaris with brutal force, claws raking, fangs bared. The monster struck, a blur of twisted claws and fang-filled fury, swiping through the air with brutal precision, aiming for Visaris' throat. But Visaris' reflexes were sharp, honed by years of battle. He sidestepped just as the claws grazed his neck, missing by mere inches, and countered with a fierce, snapping bite to Olivine's mutated shoulder. His teeth sank deep, drawing dark, oozing blood that reeked of sulfur and rot. Olivine howled, a chilling, distorted cry, but he twisted free, slashing at Visaris' flank.

"Kael, could the Healer be wrong? The life force of our pup felt so strong the last few times we checked." Kael sighed heavily, his eyes rimmed with red. "Some curses only reveal themselves as the pup grows." He handed me the diagnosis, pointing at the twisted black veins on the parchment. "Look here. The pup's wolf soul fluctuates wildly. There are signs of silver toxicity backlash. In this condition, even if the pup is born, it will die from the pain of its first shift." His voice choked, and the hand holding the paper shook. He looked like he was in agony.

Lyra swallowed hard. “…Right.” She turned back to the wounded monster. It was already standing again. Its body trembled, but the dark energy around it began rebuilding its wounds. “You think evolving changes anything?” it hissed. Lyra rolled her shoulders slowly. Her new armor hummed with energy. “I guess we’re about to find out.” The monster charged. Its speed doubled. Dark energy flooded the battlefield. But Lyra was faster now. Her body moved instinctively. She sidestepped the attack and drove her blade forward. The weapon pierced straight through the creature’s chest. The monster froze. For a moment neither of them moved. Then it smiled.

It was normal not to know about monster constitutions, no one really know that monster too can developed their strength, at these era, the masses only know and believed that monster of higher tiered just born strong. But in actuality, monster too grow like any other life forms, they accumulated experiences and grew stronger, but unlike other life forms, especially humane beings like, humans, elves, Dwarves and Demi-Human, monster grew much faster. A Tier 1 monsters that survive a life threatening battle will grow into Tier 2 monster in just a single month, then if they continue to live, achieving Tier 3 would take even shor
