Devastation, fury, and terror crashed through me at once. “What am I?” I demanded as I stepped toward him. Hade said nothing. I moved closer with my voice breaking. “You have been looking for me for ten years. Someone tried to kill me with my parents and now your Beta says they know what I am.” Tears stung my eyes. “So tell me, Hade. What the hell am I?” He stared at me and for the first time I saw genuine unease in the Monster King’s face. His usual cold control cracked just enough to reveal the storm beneath. He reached out as if to touch my shoulder then stopped himself.

" I almost laughed at how ridiculous it sounded. I used to think Ophelia was just born rotten. As it turned out, Lauren wasn't any better. Like they say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I shot Lauren a cold glance, then suddenly waved toward the distance, my voice bright. "Mom! You're here!" Lauren jerked her head up and followed my gaze. The operator who had controlled the memory extraction machine that day was striding straight toward us. I looked at the two of them, stunned speechless, and let out a quiet, mocking laugh. "Sorry. I already have a new family now. I have a new mom. If you keep bothering me, I'm calling the police."

Then the blonde could have him back. “I heard you weren’t interested in my buddy.” A growl built in the back of her throat at yet another interruption, but some tenuous hold on her human side made her restrain the noise. Still, her only thought was that she couldn’t lose sight of her prey. She didn’t even glance at the new speaker. All her senses were locked on the man at the table in front of her. “Maybe I’m more your type.” She fought back another irritated growl, but this time she did turn to the man standing very close to her.

Lindsay yelled He opened his eyes and the wind threw Lindsay hitting her on the wall,, " Arrhhh" She shouted and immediately passed out. Rodolfo walked out of the Library immediately,, he continue walking in the rain,,,,,, everyone watching him hide in fear seeing his eyes and fingers. " That's,,,,,, that's,,,,, a,,monster " A boy of five years said and his mother immediately covered his mouth with her palm. Rodolfo couldn't control himself no matter how he tried,,, his eyes keep on bringing out blood. And each blood drop,,the humans die.

I’d completely forgotten I’d ordered them. “Sea Monkeys?” Matt said with some scorn. “Seriously?” “Sea Monsters,” I replied, pointing to the box. “I was bored and saw the ad in the back of one of the comics.” Matt took the box and turned it over, scanning the details on the back. “It’s probably just another breed of shrimp,” he said, handing it back to me.

I scream, but no one can hear me over the grunts and growls of the fighting men. The monster tosses Thatcher away from me with ease after a few seconds, but before he can grab me, Thatcher shifts into his blonde-colored beast. He clamps his teeth into the monster's shoulder and throws him away from me. But his victory is short-lived because the other two beasts jump in and pin him to the ground almost immediately. The monster begins to approach my guard/friend with an evil smirk, and my feet act instinctually. I dart in front of Thatcher and put my arms out wide as I stare at the man who I have seen murder "other" Amber a million times in my head.

Burhan whispered to Aryadi's wolf form. Aryadi growled and muttered his answer using his mind. “That's what makes Hugo called the Cursed, Burhan. He obtained the form of an immortal being fraudulently and in an unusual manner, which was extremely improper. Then the form he could be even more terrifying than it should be. Burhan's head chuckled. “Before that … who was he in the first place?” Aryadi growled again. “Human. He's just an ordinary human … with a mind as mad as a real devil.”

He said with his eyes blazing with anger. "She was a monster. Her power just triggered Hira's that made it stronger that day." He said as he laughs ominously. "Good thing, that power consumes her." He added and that made Audra lose her temper. Disregarding her bleeding neck, she thrusts her Halberg to Donovan, but he was just wounded by his arm. Alaric blazed his sword with blue fire signifies that he's also losing his temper.

I needed to feed my monsters or there would be consequences. “Hi, handsome. Would you like some company?” I turned and saw an attractive blonde standing next to me. Perfect. I thought to myself. She wasn’t my usual but she would do. So I started my game again. Within thirty minutes she was walking out the door with me. We walked over to my car and I held the door as she climbed in. I smiled to myself as I climbed into the car and drove her to her death. This wasn’t how I wanted the night to end at least not with this woman but it would hold off my demons for now.
