James stopped her. He turned to the other creatures. Everyone was watching him closely, awaiting his explanation. James smiled and said, “That monster was too vile. I felt that keeping him close would result in disaster sooner or later. I couldn’t possibly keep a loose cannon by my side. As I purified his soul, I took advantage of his vulnerable state and destroyed him. By the time he realized, it was already too late. I quickly retreated, and he destroyed my formation. His soul was completely obliterated as soon as he broke my formation.”
