Moon Knight Dead Novels & Stories

Matt shook his head, the dagger was pointed to his adam apple vocal cord, not another one. "Why don't you leave them out and take me, it's me you want right." Convincing her to let everyone be and kill me wasn't a bad option at least Moon won't have to suffer through hell. How she got through those wrought gates and brought them was frankly a mystery to me, I should worry about that later if ever there was later.

Demanded my assignment be voided by Alpha authority. The elder looked at him. At the parchment Kael had shoved across the table. At the sealed mark of Everglades. "Blood-moon sealing is absolute, Kael. Even for you." Kael's hands flattened on the wood. Claws extended, gouging five deep tracks. "She's mine." "Was yours." The elder didn't flinch. "The covenant says she chose. You cannot un-choose for her." Kael stared at the gouges. At the wood splinters. At the blood where he'd cut his own palms without feeling it.

was in the middle of this. My mate. My everything. “It’s not the storm I worry about,” I said, my voice steady, though my fists clenched at my sides. “It’s what’s hiding in it. Tell me exactly what you know about Zac RedMoon.” The Moon Priestess didn’t flinch at the name. She simply folded her hands and let her gaze settle on me. “He is not alive, Alpha Damon. Not in the way you think. His body is gone, yes, but his soul... his essence has been trapped by a forbidden spell.

“He destroyed the Moonbearers?” “Most of them.” “And the broken moon from my vision…” “Was shattered during that war.” She rubbed her temples. “So let me get this straight.” Kael waited. “A powerful ancient villain broke one of the moons, wiped out the Moonbearers, and now wants me because I’m the last one.” Kael nodded. “That’s about right.” She sighed heavily. “No pressure at all.” Suddenly the ground trembled. Both of them froze. “That didn’t feel normal,” Luna said slowly.

Her eyes flickered to Xavier, and I realized she didn't want to talk in his presence. "You can say whatever you want to say here," I insisted, trying to maintain my composure. She smirked. "Violet, I didn't want to make this hard, but let's do it your way." She removed her hand from the table and smirked devilishly. "You know, I heard recently that the Luna of the Silvermoon pack is dead. Her pictures are everywhere." Her eyes narrowed as she spoke, a smirk still plastered on her face. My heart thudded. What? I'm labeled dead? In as much as I didn't know where Rhoda was heading with this information, I needed to act like I didn't understand what she was saying. But then there was Xavier.

The scent of sour rust and necrotic rot was thick around him, but his gold eyes—murky as they were—locked onto Ryan with a lethal, ancient clarity. "He... is not... a ward," Kael wheezed. Each word sounded like it was being excavated from a grave. "The Moon Pack... does not... concede." "The Moon Pack is a graveyard, Kael," Ryan said, not even looking at the broken Alpha. "You have no core, no vanguards, and your core integrity is at ten percent. You can't even ground your own fever, let alone his." Ryan stepped closer, violating the distance I had set. He reached for Leo’s shoulder.

“Unlike some people.” “Like Estella,” I said and looked at Candido. “And what do you mean? Moon Shadow—” “Mace, Mercury, Hummingbird, Falcon, and Matlock are dead,” Candido said. “With that… there are only seven members of Moon Shadow still alive and only four members of Blue Moon, including Van.”

“How the fuck do you know Dixon’s name?” Moon leans in farther, his voice low as he grinds out the next words. “Because I set it up. I’m taking down Kennedy. I’m weeding out the cops who are loyal to Manuel Estephon and keeping the ones who are loyal to me. It’s war. I’m taking New Mexico away from Estephon.” Moon releases my hair and his hands drop to his sides. I stumble back a step. “You get me, Madison? Do you understand that I’ve pulled you into my deadly mess? I’m far worse than any devil you’ve imagined. Don’t for one second think I’m anyone but exactly who you were told about in that academy class of yours. The death toll is about to rise and the blood of each life taken will be on m

They were the very reason he could draw a breath without the metallic tang of silver-poisoning. But above the vibrant sun, something else was moving. A second moon had appeared. It was a massive, silver-white orb that lacked the iridescent glow of the Lunar Council’s authority. It was flat, matte, and terrifyingly silent. For a wolf, the world was defined by its scent—the smell of rain, the musk of the pack, the iron of blood. But this new celestial body was a void in the sensory world. It was a "Dead Moon." It had no scent. It didn't even have a shadow. It was a cataract over the eye of the universe, and as it descended, the vibrant colors of the Silver Peaks began to fade.

His eyes were closed, and he was waxy, silent, and motionless. Why couldn’t I feel him anymore? Why the freaking hell couldn’t I feel his magic? Why couldn’t I feel….anything? Moth had been right. It did look like a deathbed, and I’d been the one to kill Moon.
