Moon Knight Dead Novels & Stories

“You think you can kill what the moon itself blessed?” Lucien’s expression was grim. “If the moon blessed you, it has a cruel sense of humor.” Mona’s laughter came weak but wild. “You’ve only delayed it. The next blood moon rises soon… and when it does—” Her body flickered, turning half-transparent, as if the realm itself was rejecting her. “Mona!” I shouted, stepping forward, but Lucien caught my arm. “She’s not dying,” he said quietly. “She’s escaping.”

It was the moon priestess. “Honored one.” The people greeted her. “Moon priestess, did you mean that the Luna murdered the elder?” Killian asked as the moon priestess walked inside. “No. Greetings, my Alpha.” The moon priestess greeted, and took her seat beside the Alpha. “What I am saying is that there are two possible options. It's either the tool was intentionally dropped by the murderer just to frame the Luna, or it was unknowingly dropped by the Luna herself.” The moon priestess paused and stared at Killian.

Arguments have become a tradition in these meetings. I take my seat beside Damon, who reaches for my hand. His touch sends warmth through me. “Did you miss me last night, Luna?,” he murmurs, his breath brushing my ear. Heat rushes to my face, and I roll my eyes. “You wish.” Liam, the head of warriors, begins outlining strategies for Moonlair’s security to prevent another attack like the one during the Lunar Eclipse festival. My mind drifts to that night—the screams, the stench of blood, the chaos… the lives lost. What should have been a celebration had turned into a nightmare.

"What is it?" He sat up, staring at the ceiling for a long moment. "There was a warrior. One of the Crescent Moon delegates. I… I killed him.” The world stilled. This was really deep trouble like he had said. This was disastrous. The Moon Crescent Pack and Bloodmoon pack had been at war with eachother for a very long time. But yesterday the Moon Crescent had come to the Bloodmoon pack and extended a peaceful alliance. But now that Ronan had killed one of their warriors, it would only fuelled the battle.

I paused for dramatic effect, watching his eyes. "...and it feasted on his body and soul." Khyrix shook his head in disappointment. "Did the Moonson at least add some spice? Eating an Alpha raw sounds terribly bland." I stood up to demonstrate, deciding to provide a visual aid. "They say the Moonson doesn't just want your flesh." I stepped closer, pointing a finger toward his chest. "It kills the light inside you. Once it takes you, there is no afterlife. No reincarnation. You just disappear..." I let my index finger rest against the fabric of his shirt, right over his heart. "...as if you never existed."

Even Kael. Even, she saw it from the corner of her eye. Vara? something furious and terrified crossing her face before she too reluctantly, inevitably, bent. Selene stood in the center of a bowing pack, silver light pouring from her skin, the moon pressing down on her like a crown. She didn't know what she was. But the wolves did. They had always known. Moon-touched, the old stories whispered. Born of wolf and spirit. Rare. Powerful. Every wolf alive will one day kneel.

She stated out loud with so much contempt emanating from her voice. There was an even louder murmur from the crowd. How dare she? I kept my own end of the bargain, so what was with this sudden change if heart. "Well, I Oliver Julio, succeeding Alpha of the White Crescent Moon pack, do not accept your rejection." My voice shook with anger as I said those words. Whispers rose from the room, but I didn't care. She doesn't get to reject me. She has no right to. Not when she is weak, and not even from the Royal bloodline.

“I thought the bastard got you too.” Liam inhaled. Got you too. That was all the confirmation Liam needed. His mother was really dead. In a way, he knew. He knew that already, sure, but...now it was different. His mother was actually dead now. No more pancakes, no more game nights, no more potato soup. No more of her sweet laugh, no more of her silly Christmas presents.

Marco told him. “Thank you but I think I want to rest for a few hundred years.” Konrad sighed. “Well, I will still mention it to her.” “Alpha, please end my life, I’m ready to meet the Moon.” Konrad told him. “May the Gods and Goddesses welcome you with open arms and mercy.” Marco offered up as he quickly twisted Konrad’s head snapping it. He could hear Courtney cry out. “Dear Moon Goddess,” Marco started, “accept our brother, Konrad, into your loving arms, welcome him home.” He prayed.

More of whatever it was to offer. Then, just like that, shock rippled through my body as pain shot through my skull as he forcefully pulled me from him by the hair. He glared down at me, his expression ridden with hate so pure it was enough to tear me from whatever moon-struck reverie I had been trapped in. “You’re a bloody damned Lunaris?”
