Moonbound Fate Novels & Stories

Becca’s tea would have been good to taste tonight. Alpha Fauz's POV It was morning, I barely slept through the night. “I am not thinking about her today. I'm sure she would do well in her chambers,” I hummed to myself and also sounded a warning note to Finn. The Moon festival was around the corner. It was an annual festival where we celebrated eachother and worshipped our ancestors under the auspice of the full moon. More than this, the event serves as a front for political powers. New alliances are formed, boundaries are burnt, and mates are met. I had thought I would find myself a mate during this year's festival, but as it turned out, fate had it's plan.

Not only that, but it was a blue moon. A shiver went down his spine as he started walking back in the direction of his cabin. He didn't know why but he felt like he was being watched. It was only a few minutes until the feeling was confirmed when a bush rustled a few feet away from him. He lifted his nose in the air and sniffed around. Nothing smelled out of the ordinary and he let himself relax just a little. He closed his eyes and opened up his ears to listen to the world around him. Evander waited a few minutes and that was when he heard it. A cry. It was soft, barely audible, but he heard it. Immediately, his feet ran in the direction of the cries. He ran deeper through the woods until h

While Aurora and Damien surrendered completely to the mate bond, Cassandra made a silent promise beneath the moonlit corridor. If she could not have Damien… then Aurora would lose everything.

“Tell us everything.” Elara took a deep breath. “The Moonbound are wolves who were infected by the Gate’s shadow centuries ago. Most were wiped out. The survivors—cursed. Neither spirit nor body. They can shift form. Mimic. Infiltrate. They don’t always need to kill. They’d rather watch.” Sienna swallowed hard. “For what?” “For weakness,” Elara continued. “For doubt. For cracks in the bond. That’s how they get in.” — That night, I stationed myself outside Caleb’s door again, dread pooling in my stomach.

The full coalition council convened within three days of our return, every territory's representative gathered in a chamber that had grown considerably more crowded across these years, and I stood at its head, understanding the particular weight of delivering news that would reshape our entire mission's scope and urgency. "One year," I said, once the assembled leaders had settled into attentive silence. "That's the timeline we've been given before every dormant Moonbound bloodline across every territory awakens simultaneously, regardless of whether we've found and trained them beforehand."

The Queen Dowager’s words seemed to hang in the cold air of the council chamber like frost. She has nothing. It was a simple, brutal statement, and the worst part about it was that she was completely right. In the world of Moonborn Fate, logic didn't matter if you didn't have the status or the physical evidence to back it up. I was a displaced Luna with a ruined reputation, standing in a room full of old men who had spent their entire lives bowing to the lineage the Dowager controlled.

God, I hated it so much. Why would the moon goddess allow me fall for Dylan only to push him away again? Why would she let me experience peace in another man’s arms if she already knew my soul belonged elsewhere? Why did fate always feel like punishment? My father rubbed my back slowly while my mother continued holding me. “Nobody can question the moon goddess,” my mother whispered gently. “Sometimes fate takes time before revealing itself fully.” I cried harder. “When your true mate finally comes,” she continued, “it will happen in a way nobody expects. And when that moment comes, nobody will be able to take his place.”

Josey hoped that she could bring the two together. It was late, and Josey had fallen asleep before she could eat the soup Mara had made. Finally, her stomach grumbling woke her up, and she checked the time. The clock on her nightstand read 2 am. Looking out the window, she realized the moon would be full in just a few days.

Years of bodies that never fit the shape of what we were missing. Now the shape felt close. Close enough to breathe. Close enough to claim. She was out there. And when she stepped into our gravity? She wouldn’t drift. What we were scared people. What we were with her? That would make the wards sing. And when the Supremes and the Triplet Kings demanded to know why the bond resonance spiked, I’d say it with a smile: The Moon finally answered.

Alpha Brian Jones denounced his father’s and his sister Lumia’s actions, absolved Luna Thea of Lumia’s death, and pledged Ice Moon to New Dawn. It was Sunday morning by the time we finished the last takeover of the night, where Alpha Ford absorbed Mead Moon into his pack, Moonbeam. Immediately after, the other Alphas left to go home, and Alpha Ledger and I stayed with New Dawn to watch their assessment of Alpha Ford’s pack.
