I walked to the center of the stage and accepted the microphone, then calmly swept my gaze across the hall. "Good afternoon, everyone. I am Stardust, creator of 'Moonfall on Leviathan.' And my real name is Maeve Rosethorn." The hall erupted in an uproar. Danika staggered back, looking ashen-faced, while Alder's thoughts hit me like a massive, crushing tidal wave. [Maeve is Stardust? “The Shadow King unleashed an army of shadow beasts across this region. Entire cities were destroyed.” Luna felt the whispers again. Not threatening. Just… sad. It was such a beautiful sight .

I wait til I hear feel the cold air drifting into the kitchen and the soft sound of a door closing before glancing into the hallway again. Through the doors glass I could see Embers back to me. The left side of her body was eliminated white from the moon and her hair looked like silver threads as they hung down her back. Creeping towards the door she shifts and a second later a see a silvery gold wolf dashing across the snow, her body low as she ran.

The moon represents love, coldness, and compassion. Watching everything from afar, it holds all the mysteries of the world. Being the oldest guards of the world, it protects humans from the dead and profane creatures that are hiding under the dark with its silvery light. But that day there's no moon and moonlight. It's completely dark in that eerie midnight. The place was weirdly silent and cold, perhaps the air and the trees know what type of merciless act going to happen there. Tides moved slowly in fear and no other creature is awake to witness it.
