I had spent weeks sketching designs, sourcing materials, and now, finally, bringing my vision to life. The dress was a masterpiece of silver and midnight blue; I had been inspired by the night sky, and wanted to embody that with my gown. The bodice was a deep, rich blue adorned with tiny crystals that sparkled like the stars in the sky. Fine stitches traced moon symbols along collars and hems. Maida walked slowly between the racks, her fingers brushing over smooth fabrics as she searched for something worthy of her. Finally, her eyes landed on a gown that was set apart from all others. It was a royal silver gown with long flowing sleeves, fine moon embroidery along the neckline, a graceful floor-length fall, and a bold thigh-high slit edged with crystals that revealed elegance and bold confidence. Her lips curved into a bright smile. "I want this one," she said firmly to the head seamstress.

The moon goddess didn’t birth us under the same star. But she said it made her feel like we faced things together. Mine was soft blush pink, hers was snow white. If not for the colors, we would’ve looked like little girls going to a festival at Grandma’s house. Her dress was short, lace, with tiny silver stones that caught the light beautifully. I open it, take a sharp breath in and cover my mouth as I see the dress that is hanging in plain view with my name on it. I step inside the closet and carefully run my fingers over the fabric and fight the tears in my eyes I haven’t had or worn anything so beautiful. The last dress I wanted to wear was the beautiful, unique silver dress Daniel had picked for me to wear to the Nightmoon & Co full moon event. This dress was just as beautiful. It was a white full-length dress with a soft, full skirt. It had a heart-shaped silk bodice that descended into a V shape at the back and was covered in a delicate, shimmering lace overlay that covered the chest, the shoulders and the back.

Declan and I proclaim our love for one another in one ceremony, I speak to my pack, making my vows to them, and then we party. White isn't Declan or me. Not in this matter, so I went with black, one of our primary colors here at Silver Moon, and to say I'm obsessed with this dress is an understatement. The top is tight enough to institute my curves, and there is a high slight going up the left leg. It's every bit of who I am, and this dress is beautiful.

SELENE The dress was strapless and silky, and it hugged every part of my body like it had been made perfectly for me. The contrast of my snow blonde hair and pupils and my fair skin against the blackness of the dress made me look like a goddess, like the moon admist the black night sky. And the slit…goddess, the slit was criminal. It ran so high up my thigh, showing enough leg to cause a scandal, and one wrong movement would have exposed everything.

Mom gushed. "No mom, it turned out perfect." I was still beaming at my dress. Maddie's dress was almost the same as mine but only a deep burgundy color and hers didn't have the slit on the side. Maddie's was also velvet with long sleeves, but hers had a sweetheart neckline instead of the mermaid hem. Gloria's dress was much different than mine and Maddie's. Her dress is a beautiful silver but instead of velvet material it was silk with sheer fabric covering from the waist up her front and down her shoulders. Crystal snowflakes also embroidered on her dress all around the sheer fabric.

Stepping back, I hold the magnificent dress up to the moonlight. Sequins sparkle like iridescent moonbeans against a backdrop of silver silk. The evening gown is strapless and floor length, flaring slightly at the bottom where it sweeps the floor. Every inch is scaled with glimmering silver, so that it appears to shine from within, as if the dress itself were made of moonlit water, an enchanted shimmering vision. I’ve never seen, nor could ever have imagined, a more bewitching dress. I don’t even need to try it on to know it will fit me perfectly, draping over every curve like molten metal.
