Nevertheless, he had to report to his Alpha. “The supply caravan was attacked on the way to Orlando” Tirian repeated to him “We managed to drive them off, but there were some casualties and injuries” Liam’s fingers rolled on his desk as he regarded his Beta. The supply was necessary for the upcoming ceremony and the normal needs a group of werewolves living in a city would need. Author’s POV Night of the War, Night of the Full Moon. The full moon hung low in the sky, providing enough light for war. Hundreds of Willow Brooke warriors gathered in the plain, determination written on their faces, their destiny was to war even if they died in it and they came prepared.

His eyes were sharp, cruel, alive with unfinished rage. Then the attack came. Ash Pack wolves burst from the trees. Arrows hissed through the mist. Blades flashed. Chaos followed. The ground churned under paws and boots. Moonrise warriors met the ambush head-on, the line bending but refusing to break. Xander was at the center of it. There were warriors arriving at the border, there were many of them and I could not tell from which pack they were from, but it was clear that they were not all from Jade’s father.
