If you ask me It was like watching a little kid count his toys a bloody million times and still getting it wrong in the first two digits. Hell! This is boredom, which is easy and flows without a tick or a tock, yet I look into its far horizon all the same for any sign of positive change; none came. Oh, God. I want to kill him with my kisses just to shut the hell out of his lips.

Right before my dad left and my mum lost her mind. "What was the book?" Rhodes asks gently after a few moments of silence, I've always found a way to leave him speechless with my sad past. "Eloise of Green Gables, it's my favourite book" I reply with a smile, it really is, even if it is mainly for children. That’s why I never liked running a business. It bores me to death. I mean, even the letters are so boring, formulaic, and devoid of any emotion.” I placed the paper back into the stacks of tons of white and black stuff on his neat desk.

Alicia’s POV “Ugh,” I groaned as I closed the book I had been reading for the second time. I had been trying to not give into the abject boredom that I felt but it was becoming harder and harder to do so. “Come on, what else can I do?” I wondered aloud, staring at the closing as I laid on the couch in the living room. Was this how life would become now? Because I had no work to revolve my life around, the days slowed into a dismal crawl.

So that ‘training’ he mentioned, was utterly useless. It was almost nighttime when I sat on my bed, a matchstick between my teeth and a book in hand as I skipped page after page. I had read the same thing three days ago and now, I’m back to reading it again. That’s how boring my life’s been these past few weeks.

It was too improbable. "Still at it?" My head raised slightly to regard the beta, who had now just entered through the library's door holding two glasses of water. He quickly dismissed the guard he'd asked to watch over me and waited until he'd left the room, before closing the door on us both. "I have no idea how anybody could get through even one of these books without gouging their eyes out." I sighed while rubbing my hands over my eyes then continuing to read the same line I had now read four times already. "The first king was the most boring person I've ever heard about. How he even had the time to write all this is completely beyond me."
