Everything else in the movie was just over the top for me. I sit back and open the book. With the book in hand and some music playing in the background I was soon transported into my own world. I don't know why, but as soon as I picked up a book to start reading, the whole world around me can go up in flames and I would not even realize it. This is why my mom banned me from reading at home.

I just ignored them and focused on getting to the other side. When we reached the shelves, the old man asked our grade and started taking out thick rickety books from the shelves in pairs. I really had to stifle a gasp seeing the thick books that were spread in front of me. The thickest was algebra. Oh! Great. I just hate maths and there are no other rivals like us in this whole world, trust me. That was the only subject I used to lose my As. Boom goes the canon! I got bored so I excused myself and walked away from them to look around where there was the least number of people. I walked aimlessly tracing my fingers along the slightly dusty shelves while inhaling the scent of books.

I flare and hang up, throwing my phone on my bed with myself. How dare he call? Reminding me what happened? Is he trying to mock my weakness? I stayed till almost midnight and surprisingly nobody called me for dinner. I lay on my bed and go through the pages of the book the therapist gave me. For some silly reasons , I keep on remembering that weirdo stranger. I toss my book aside and close my eyes to sleep. It's morning again and I'm awake . My life's boring.
