It was like searching for a needle in a haystack, and with every passing minute, the urgency only grew. Willow stopped in front of the third shelf and ran her puffy hands along the spines, finally pulling out a book and handing it to Clara: Historic Crimes in Hiestora. When Clara pried it open, the book issued a hissing sound and she noticed it suddenly felt lighter in her hands. Cracking open the dusty tome, Clara noticed pictures that were moving as if the history was playing out once again inside these pages. Below the pictures were written texts of the events.

I even stumbled upon a book that belonged to the earlier Human Empire, which was eventually destroyed. I eventually chose a book, walked up to a seat, and sat down. The History of One Thousand Years. The Beast Kingdom was only mentioned in this one book, however, I'm not sure why that is. The book's title was neither innovative nor enticing. But I wasn't looking for a decent book to read, I was looking for knowledge on the Beast Kingdom. Dust was scattered everywhere when I opened the book. There was the odour of old wood that was hundreds or maybe thousands of years old.

Though I'm not an avid reader, seeing all these books in front of me, I couldn't help but want to read them all. They all seemed to hold some kind of history that I just feel interested in. This is a first for me, though because I prefer reading about celebrities rather than reading about some fairy tales and history which are not proven to be true. I was so immersed, going through the books, that I did not notice when someone stood behind me.

I need to take time. I remember the small room I entered last time. I slowly opened the door and turned on the lampshade. The books on the table were still scattered. I tried to look and read each one of them. These are all interesting books. Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and a lot more. I tried to find something that might help me, but I found nothing.
