A Mother's Hand

A Mother's Hand

My mother, Sophie Nash, was also my homeroom teacher, and she loved nothing more than using me to assert her authority. She was convinced that the worse off I was, the more afraid my classmates would be, and the higher her authority would be. Once, when I passed an eraser to a classmate during class, she slapped me so hard across the face in front of the whole class that my face swelled up. Another time, after I secretly ate a crumb of a classmate’s snack during recess, my mom dragged me up to the front of the classroom and pricked my lip with a needle until blood gushed out. Later, when a classmate was caught by the vice principal for having a romantic relationship while underaged, my m

Saved By the Ruthless Business Man

Saved By the Ruthless Business Man

His mother’s smile was a warmth that Adrian had never forgotten, even when life had given him nothing but coldness. His heart twisted in his chest as his gaze lingered on the photo. His fingers lightly traced the frame, his thumb brushing over his mother’s smiling face. He could almost feel the warmth of her embrace again, as though she were still there, urging him to make the right choices. But the memories were sharp, painful.

The Alpha King's Breeder

The Alpha King's Breeder

Sarah Worn, weathered hands cup mine in the warmth of a room covered in faded wallpaper. Toys are scattered across a woven carpet of muted greens and yellows, and small voices lift in glee and mischief, blurred and faceless. The hands around mine are so large compared to my small, child-sized hands. Warm and rough, tender and caring, they curl around my fingers in a mother’s touch. “I know you're young,” the woman says, her face a fuzzy, fractured memory, “but you’ve lived through more than anyone should have to experience in one lifetime.”

These books have been my lifeline. I am crushed to reach this point and have to leave this beautifully tragic world and all its perfectly flawed characters. I can't wait for the next update, and honestly hope (though I know it is in vain) we get to follow this family tree for even more generations.

Cheated Mate: I Bonded with a Comatose Alpha

Cheated Mate: I Bonded with a Comatose Alpha

a deep voice whispered, but I couldn't make out the words. All I knew was that I needed that safety. I reached out blindly, grabbed onto the heat source, and pulled it into my arms. Suddenly, the world spun. I hit something hard and hot—a wall of muscle—and we fell onto the soft bedding together. It was so warm. The heat started chasing away the chill in my bones. It had to be my mother protecting me. "Mom..." I pressed closer to the heat, seeking more warmth. "Mom, I missed you so much..."

The Alpha Who Killed Me Is My Mate

The Alpha Who Killed Me Is My Mate

Not of me, but of her. “Luna, we…” “I said give her to me!” The woman obeyed, placing me into her arms, and the moment I touched her chest, I stopped screaming. Her skin was warm. Her scent was the first thing that calmed me. I could feel her heartbeat. I could feel... love, it was real, warm and cozy. I wanted to stay there forever. “She’s not cursed,” my mother said softly, staring at me like I was a puzzle she’d already solved.

The last silver fang's Revenge

The last silver fang's Revenge

His gentle light glowed softly, warming his sister as she laughed. Nyx watched them from my lap, tears slipping down her cheeks. “Our babies,” she whispered. “They’re perfect.” I kissed her neck. “Just like their mother.” She turned toward me slowly, straddling my lap—quiet, grateful, needing closeness after everything we’d survived. We kissed deeply, love and relief tangled together, years of struggle finally easing. Clothes came off slowly, reverently. Her body—strong, beautiful, changed by motherhood—felt like a miracle beneath my hands. I touched her gently, thankful, grounding us both in life and warmth.

Lucifer's Redemption

Lucifer's Redemption

Those eyes of hers held such warmth for him, to the God of War that had slaughtered thousands, maybe millions. “Just talking about Lucifer comforting you when you have your monthly. It just reminded me of some things.” Mariah turned her back to walk out of the bathroom, but I quickly followed, grabbing her hand. The warmth from our hands that I have felt before between Zeus and my mom burned brightly. No longer just feeling warmth, I saw it. My eyes widened. Mariah did the same until her eyes calmed to a half hooded look. Her rigid body slumped, walking a step closer to me so I didn’t have to stretch so far to keep her close to me.

Great story, I’m a fan of mythology and this novel has an unique and interesting way of combining folk tales, pagan and Christian beliefs. I loved the story and the outlines of every character and it’s way of redemption/salvation.

The alpha's little mate

The alpha's little mate

she greets with a trembling voice. "Hello ," My mother replies with an affectionate smile. " You can come closer. Don't be shy ," my mother stretches her hands for a hug . Rue walks over to her silently and reaches out for her . I don't know how my mother does it but Rue suddenly starts crying in her arms .Her tiny body convulses and her shoulders shake as she sobs loudly . I stand awkwardly watching the sad scene unfold in front of me . I don't know how to react so I just watch mum rubbing her back soothingly.

Red Moon: The breaking of the Lycranthrope curse.

Mother sat in the living room, her back to me, a fragile figurine sculpted from sorrow. "Mom?" I called out, his voice rough with a torrent of emotions. She turned her face a map of tear tracks, eyes red-rimmed and raw. Relief and anguish warred within me as I rushed to her side, enveloping her in a hug that spoke of unspoken promises and fierce protectiveness.

Rebound to the Lycan Alpha

Rebound to the Lycan Alpha

Silence lingered with the slowly moving time. The cramps in my stomach kept getting worse as I spoke those words. Mother broke into sobs as she flopped on the bed, covering her mouth with her hand. I kneeled on the floor beside the bed and held her hands in mine. “I cherish a memory and I’ll keep cherishing it until the very end, mother. Your lullaby and the gentle warmth of your hands when they stroked my hair in the hospital. Even though I was badly hurt, I don’t remember the pain in that memory. It’s just your warmth that still lives on in that memory and trust me, mother… this one memory is… enough to make my entire childhood worth remembering…”

This book was amazing! Sometimes triggering, but besides that, I cried and laughed throughout. I loved this take on the werewolf lore. Redemption and love conquering all. Thank you for this amazing read!
