I remembered there was a control room where a few people managed the lighting, sound system, and screen. I was only halfway through when loud music suddenly played. I turned to watch the screen, which showed pictures of Shanelle and Luc. They were both in each other's arms with big smiles on their faces. The picture suddenly tore into two pieces, separating the happy couple before both were burnt by flames which came out of nowhere. The loud music was replaced by a voice that sounded like Ultron from the second Avengers movie, something which was digitally made. "Did you really think their relationship was real? Don't be a fool. There's no such thing as a fairy tale in real life."

I asked him as he scowled in his parent’s direction. “I get top bunk.” Marvel stares up and growls, “And no food in bed.” “Just popcorn?” Calum counters. Marvel sighs. “Fine, but I pick the movie.” “Dinosaur Park?” Calum asks, his face lighting up. “Jurassic Park,” Marvel corrected him. “Yay!” Calum likes the dinosaur movie. It is one of the only ones they can agree on. Marvel isn’t a fan of the little kid shows Calum usually picks.

I quickly got out of the uber taxi I requested at the mall and headed inside.. the lights were still on so I knew my brother was probably watching tv. It was around 8pm, daddy was probably sleeping. I unlocked the door and got inside.. "The movie doesn't end until 9.." My little brother said the second I walked in. I rolled my eyes, "okay Mr time teller... what's playing?" "Avengers... wanna join?" I kissed his cheek when I reached him and he wiped himself making me roll my eyes, "nope.. I have to call someone.."

"Action? Romance? Horror? What's your flavor?" She tipped her head to the side. "Action?" I nodded. "Sure. Although what action movie do you know of that's also sappy?" I hit the button for the penthouse floor. Shuffled her around so I could lay my palm against the biometric plate. She shrugged. "I'm not a huge romance movie fan. And besides, most of the Marvel movies can be quite poignant. Like the death scene in Infinity War: End Game?" She clutched at her chest dramatically. "Gets me right in the feels when Iron Man takes the gauntlet and says, ‘I am Iron Man,' right before he snaps his fingers and dies."

He still would not let me in the library though. It was my 22 birthday, and Amara (age 22), Blake (age 26. He had stopped aging 6 years ago.) , and Anthony wanted to take me out to watch a movie. They said it would be worth watching. It was a movie about a man who went to hell to save his wife. They said it was old, but good. The name of the movie was “What Dreams May Come”. It made me cry at the end of it. After the movie we all went our separate ways. Amara had to go to college classes, and Blake had a job as a bodyguard for a client.
