She’s so effin’ beautiful! “Abububu~ abubuuu~” (Who are you?!) My brows arched at my sudden weird voice. I tried to reach my mouth but it’s so hard to do! My eyes widened when I saw my hand. I gasped for air and shivered. What… What?! Why are they so small?! What happened to them?! “You want to talk to Mama? What little sunshine?” She hummed. Her voice feels so soft like a feather but I can’t help but get confused about this situation!

Sound of jealousy could be heard in her voice. Everyone was just commenting on Jeremy and Maria, Milan and Adrian were not left out because they were also looking so good. "I told you he won't fail nor miss a chance to set the ladies on fire. Look at him he is looking like a god" Lara praised. "Sometimes I wonder if the guy is really from our world. He looks exactly like a mermaid prince" Vivian said, trying to sound casual but her excitement betrayed her. "I do wonder if he is a fairy god," Jim said with so much enthusiasm.

My mind filled with a soft, hazy light. “I’m… in a room,” I murmured. My voice sounded strange, distant, as though I were speaking through water. “It’s small… but safe. There’s… a bed. My bed. The blanket’s soft. I’m… tiny.” “Good,” Vivian encouraged. “Stay with it. What else?” “I hear…” I trailed off, tilting my head in the darkness. The faintest sound brushed against my ears—muffled, far away. “Something outside… voices? No… growls.”

He gently whispered and I wanted to bawl like a baby! I can hear muffled voices around us but I haven't got a clue what they are saying, out of the corner of my eyes I can see feet moving towards the door but I have no interest in looking up to see what's going on, my eyes are glued on the little blonde hair blue eyed baby girl that's staring back me. After just a few moments Calvin calls out my name but I can't peel my eyes off her.

Michael looked at Ariel with a smile mouthing a thanks. "Well, if it'll make you feel better. Let's go, stutter pants." Polly said while standing up. "I-I dont st-stutter!" He yelled, making Ariel cover her mouth in laughter. Ernest squirmed in his sleep a bit before waking up. "What's going on?" Ernest asked. "Oh, just on time. We're going to be heading home. You should walk with Polly and Michael." Everyone's eyes widened. "And who's walking you home?" Polly asked. "Well, I was-"

If it was a competition, he didn’t stand a chance. “Oh,” Sabrina said softly, her voice tinged with realization over something Denzel said. She covered the phone’s receiver and turned to me on the bed. “What was the film about?” she asked, a hint of panic in her voice. “I don’t know,” I said lazily, still sprawled on the bed. It was a horror story with a romance subplot. I didn’t tell Sabrina that. Sabrina looked away, a little panicky. “I’m sorry, Denzel,” Sabrina said into the phone after uncovering it. “I honestly wasn’t watching. My life’s been a mess.”

"You're doing so well, little hunter." When her breathing had finally steadied to something resembling normal, she spoke. Her voice was small, broken. "He used to do that." She was still staring at nothing, her hand still pressed against her neck like she could feel phantom fangs there. "Michail. He would feed from me and then he would make me..." She cut herself off with a choked sob. Understanding crashed over me like a bucket of ice water, stealing the breath from my lungs. Michail had fed from her.

Perhaps it was why I didn’t really try to struggle or scream. We were halfway to my room when he suddenly stopped and moved the hand at the small of my back to my neck. I shuddered, remembering how I’d thought of him when my maids had pinned my hair up. His lips grazed the skin there now, tongue flicking out to tease my sensitive spot before biting right over that same area. I whimpered and sagged, leaning my whole weight back against him. “Didn’t I warn you not to dare me, little wolf?” He whispered oh so menacingly. I shuddered but it was not from fear as his tongue flicked at my earlobe.

Mrs Scott rolled her eyes at June. "E-excuse me?" June stuttered confused by her words. "Look here," Mrs Scott said in a low voice leaning forward like she wanted to tell June a secret. "Don't play dumb. It's just me and you, you can drop the stupid act." June blinked twice, her lips parted as she tried to process what she just said, "I- I don't understand." Mrs. Scott's words left June bewildered, unsure of how to respond. She couldn't fathom why Mrs. Scott was accusing her of playing a trick, was she testing her, or worse she didn't like her?

She opened her mouth to snarl— —and a small hand appeared over the edge of the crib. Tiny fingers. Crayon streaks on pale skin. “Mama?” a small voice called. Not quite right. Echoing, like it was coming down a long, tinny hallway. Everything in her roared. “Luna,” she said. Or thought she did. Her throat didn’t work. “Mama!” The voice came again. Clearer. Sharper. Not dream-echo tinny. Real.
