Life was good. She entered and the first thing she heard was a deep voice. It was kind of familiar and Ana frowned a little. The voice stopped speaking but Ana advanced into the room, intent on knowing whoever was the owner of the voice. The voice started saying something again, something Ana couldn't make out. There was someone in front of her so she walked to another part of the room, found a stool and sat on it. There she had a vantage view of the shoot. And of the man himself.

I breathed in relief, but my mind remained fizzy to make out the face. “Mr Vito…” The voice dies down as I passed out.

I heard a faint voice at a distance talking, its voice light as the wind. “Rita Macaulay, TIK TOK!”

I love her. It is then that I realize you could hear a pin drop in the place. The only sounds are my ragged breaths and her light sobs. People are awestruck including the DJ. “Come home with me, please, Little Kitten,” I plead without turning around to look at her. “I want to have fun, but you ruined it!” She shines.

I ask, glancing through my iPad. "A week from now." She says, staring at the clock. "Shit! It's almost time to get the kids from school." She says and I sigh again. Just as I open my mouth to talk, my phone rings and I pick the call. "Mummy!" Three Little voices greets me. "How are my darlings?" I asks. "We're fine. They driver is here but there's no Aunty May inside." The Alessio, the eldest of the three says.

Who's there. A giggle echoes. - Who's there? Who's there? Who's there?- the voice repeated, mocking. "Ryan, it's a girl's voice." - Peek-a-boo! - one girl, peeking from behind a tree, says. - Hello little one. You scared me. Where are your parents? - Parents? I don't have parents. - Are you here all alone? - this is my house - she says, coming out from behind the tree, in an old and torn dress.

He looks down on me and went back to eye contact with the doctor. “Good Lord, he’s there?” Doc Melissa asks with a hint of disappointment on her voice. These boys didn’t know how to identify it, so they have no reaction at all. “Yes.” They opened the door and I lift myself up with my left foot to sit down. Doctor Melissa turns her way to the other door and opened it on herself.

When Noah looked at me, he softened his expression, “you'll love it here, Noah. And your mummy would also.” “Let's go in, mama. So Nik can go for his meeting,” Noah took my hands and my jaw flexed once uncontrollably. We entered, and just as Noah screamed in excitement rushing to the sofa, I turned to Nik. “Fuck you.” Nikolai grinned. “Later, I’m busy now.” Before I could counter his words, I caught the shadow through the corner of my eyes. And just then, the voice followed — a voice I still remembered after years.
