In a giddy manner, my mother's feet press against the floor repeatedly, tapping them loudly, reminding me of that dancing penguin movie. Happy Feet I think it was called? I babysat Riot and Rebel and remember them watching that movie before. Not like I voluntarily watched it alone. Nope. "Oh my, Lord. Thank you! I may get some grandchildren after all. Grandma Julit is going to love this!" She squeals, her eyes gleaming. After dinner at my parent's, I came home, fed Piggy, worked out, showered, and changed into a pair of sweatpants before laying down on my bed.

The city lights, the noise, the smell of food, it all felt so normal, like the world hadn’t completely fallen apart. We got our tickets, and they made me sit in the middle so none of them could “fight for the seat beside me.” Typical. Throughout the movie, I actually laughed a few times. It felt good. I forgot how to laugh for real. Hades kept whispering sarcastic comments beside me, and Cayden kept shushing him. When the movie ended, I didn’t even realize how late it was. “See? You’re smiling again,” Hughes said as we walked out.

She smiles gratefully and scoots back far enough to spread her legs across me. As we continue to watch the movie, I feel her foot move up and down my thigh gently. I don't even think she's aware that she's doing it, but I'm completely aware of it. I feel it every single time her foot grazes against the material of my pants. Honestly, it's kind of hot. "So, uh..." I say, clearing my throat. "What do you think of the movie so far?" I ask her. "It's good. It's really funny, too. I don't know why I haven't seen this before." She tells me.

She warns and I try to control the laughter that is threatening to escape my mouth. Mike snorts. “And say what? A guy tried to sweat you to death?” Vicky and Mia burst into fits of laughter; I’m biting my lower lip and banging my fists against my lap while Cammy scrunches up her face in disgust. “Oh my god”, Vicky tries to breathe and control her laughter, “that was so gross!” and she begins laughing hysterically again. I try to control myself and catch a glimpse of Mia laughing. It is nice to see her laugh. She doesn’t laugh much and seeing her like this feels nice. The laughter dies down and Mike, who’s still standing, speaks up.

Adam whispered. "Five feet apart." I grinned and he would regret asking me and choosing that movie. "Alright, Five feet apart, it is!" He clapped as everyone groaned. I giggled softly eyeing Adam. They started playing the movie as I watched it with almost sincerity, I love this movie. It's a heartbreaking movie and I'm definitely gonna cry after seeing it. Halfway through the movie, When they were lying I could tell he loved the way she touched him with her eyes and felt her with mine. I started crying that she was going to die.

“Eurovision. I was in the mood for stupid funny.” He laughed and opened a beer. “I love this movie,” he said as he handed the bottle to me. I sniffed at it, and the smell of fermented hops tickled my nose. I took a sip. It was kind of nasty, but not as bad as I’d expected. I took another sip, and it wasn’t as bad. “It’s okay, so far, but I think I’ll watch something like I Feel Pretty or Zoolander when I’m in the mood for stupid.” I said.

I asked. Happiness chuckled lightly. “Yeah.” I passed the remote control to her, and let her choose the movie. *** We've been watching movies for over two hours now. Though I have been drawn to her, and not the movie. Every reaction she gives is precious, and I don't want to miss it. She laughs, frowns, gets teary eyed, and laughs again. It's amusing, and I can't get bored watching her. Happiness sighs dreamily while the movie is approaching the end. The couple finally reunites again, and she looks satisfied with the ending.

Declan was now at a security office in a park, clutching a guard's phone and repeatedly dialing my number. The moment my phone buzzed with an incoming call, I answered, and his voice, no longer angry, came through faintly. "Did you switch our bodies? Hurry up and switch us back." I couldn't help but laugh, though I pretended to be confused. "Wait, has that been bothering you? But I thought you loved Camilla! Shouldn't you be thrilled about this?"
